The New Twistissimo 60 mm Slingback pumps - wanted to love them but...

Interesting design with Louboutins description "cleverly concealed thong and pointed toe"

They were quite uncomfortable with the strap between the toes and didn't give it that sophisticated look that the style was intending. I wanted to love these but couldn't.

Has:

Kid leather

Everlasting sole

Fastens with buckle

Miss Z booties 100mm - Everlasting sole

Very cute calf leather ankle boot that's 100 mm but appears higher.

Pretty comfortable for 100mm due to the fully padded insole and of course, the everlasting sole. The zipper has a distinctive logo as well, in white.

I found these a bit more challenging to walk in than normal pumps - possibly just need to get used to them... 🤭

Anyone with a piece from the VCA Frivole collection? Maintenance on mirror-polished gold?

I recently tried this piece on and fell in love but wondering about the maintenance on mirror polished gold? Looking at a casual day to day but usually only get my pieces polished every 1-2 months. This would be my first Frivole piece.

Does anyone else have a piece from this collection and does the mirror finish need a lot of polishing?

Thanks x

Custom order arrived - Miss Z Black/Red Degrade Patent Leather 85mm

About a 4 month wait for custom orders, but it arrived! I ordered these as soon as they allowed custom orders for Miss Zs.

Christian Louboutin Custom Miss Zs

Black/Red Dégradé Patent Leather - 85mm heel

The process was all done with team to create a subtle black-to-Louboutin-red gradient (and it could also have been done the other way around!).

I wanted to choose the colour of the sole (black or red) but this wasn't customisable so was at Beige. I love the little logo on the bottom and these come in a pretty red bag.

Happy to answer any questions about the custom ordering process, pricing, timelines, sizing, communication, or anything else you're curious about. :)

A dash of colour for the TAG feed today with a shiny MoP.

What's your most colourful watch?

Mine: My first and only TAG - The mother of -pearl dial catches the light so well complementing the rose gold accents. 🩷

Definitely need to see more colourful watches to brighten those grey days (Especially in Melbourne, Australia).

Model: TAG Heuer Carrera Lady Calibre 9 Automatic 29mm white MoP w/ pink alligator strap.

Christian Louboutin Miss Z Mule 100 Magma/Orange Calfskin

First wear, first look.

One of the most brightest colours in my collection - "Magma" colour. Bold or too bold?

No idea what to wear them with but they're super supple and super comfortable with the 100mm padded insole.

Very summery! ☀️🟠🌞

Bollinger Rose cs Billecart Rose...

They didn't have my current fav Billecart at duty in Singapore airport so I grabbed Bollinger (I had not had it before but vaguely around the same pricepoint) and honestly disappointed.

What would be a better alternative next time around?

My fav is Billecart Rose at the moment...

The Metallic Brown Bronzo Fannylove 100mm isn't a colour you see every day...

... and that's exactly why I love it.

I really underestimated this colour when I got it and love that it shifts with the light and never goes unnoticed.

Posting here for those who are considering another neutral colour other than beige or black :)

Korean chilli pepper gochujang crème brûlée at Mingles, Seoul

I had the opportunity to finally eat at Mingles, in Seoul and their dessert was amazing.

The korean take on the crème brûlée. It was more unique than creme brulee but the essence was there. The salty soy sauce really gave it the edge with the textured crunch. The chilli wasn't overpowering but complimentary.

Mingles is worth the experience, just getting a table is hard.

Description of dish:

It features a rich doenjang (Korean fermented soybean paste) creme brulee base. It is topped with vanilla ice cream, ganjang (soy sauce) glazed pecans, gochujang (chilli pepper paste) puffed rice, and a whiskey foam.

Great gym at The Plaza Seoul, Autograph Collection

So just an appreciation post for The Plaza Seoul, Autograph Collection. Plenty of equipment, lots of space, and gasp- even a barbell or two.

Having travelled to Seoul for work over the years, finding a good gym was a struggle. Most hotel "gyms" lack so much - a couple of treadmills, some dumbbells, and that's about it.

Definitely recommend, or does anyone else know something better than this in Seoul?

Salad over Pastrami - took a risk on this one on a 6am flight (MEL-SIN)

Just a trivial post!

I usually take red eye flights so had forgotten how much you get fed during the day.

I would usually go the pastrami over a poke bowl salad but was pleasantly surprised.

Probably not the popular choice, I assume? Maybe this might sway some.

Menu options:

Whole Grain Bread with Beef Pastrami

Warm pressed sandwich layered with beef pastrami, grain mustard, pickled gherkin, and cheddar cheese

Prawns and Rice Noodles Poke Bowl

Packed with carrot, green beans, heirloom tomatoes, crisp lettuce, red radish, cucumbers, and dressed with creamy Japanese dressing

The pink version of the mirrored 100mm Miss Zs

Ahh you guys loved the green ones I posed last time, finally unboxed these babies for a photo.

Honestly these are twice the shine and double the trouble 😂😍

Champagne problems is finding an outfit that they deserve to be paired with.

36F - largest pair of geeky glasses I could find in Seoul.

Got these Tom Fords in Seoul, Korea from Davich Optical chain

It was a 24hour turn around with prescription. Great experience and would definitely do it again.

I love that they're so geeky.

If these could talk they'd probably get me in to trouble.

I love the pink mirrored patent leather which at the right angle can have a cheeky reflection.

Miss Z Degrastrass pumps 100mm ombre Rubber & leather - mistake?

These are the 100mm Miss Z Degrastrass pumps, which are supposed to look like a glass slipper. I'm

A little underwhelmed by the rubber feel and look - the clear toe makes the pointed toe even pointier, right?

The price tag is probably more so for the crystal embellishments...

It could be my pedicure colour and also my outfit but not really vibing. I did get them on sale though so didn't pay the full $1800US/$2500AU.

They are comfortable though but it will likely be my only rubber pair.

120mm Lady Z Patent Leather Peep-Toe Pumps in Blush?

Blush or Black? For 120mm Lady Zs in patent leather.

I only had the Blush to try on in my size but let's face it, I don't think I'd be wearing these too much out since my max is 100mm for outings 😂

Anyone bought these and found that they're actually ok to wear door to door?

I'm leaning towards black since the red pops more and I doubt I'd get both only to wear "around the house". Store is ordering in the size for me to try on (Last photo is stock photo of black).

100mm Sofia Z peep-toe pump Grapefruit

Quick review: Tried these cute grapefruit coloured ones on. They're true to size, comfortable but the patent leather does need to be worn in. They fit well but have ordered in a larger size to see if there's a bit more give.

The colour is stunning but I'm not sure if it'll go with the bold colours I usually wear, plus I'm usually a closed toe shoe girl.

Anyone been converted from closed to open toe? Any tips to make it more comfy?

Miss Z 80mm Animal-print patent leather pumps

Just wanted to share one of my go to pairs the Miss Z animal-print patent pumps are one of my most versatile shoes.

Almost a staple in my collection, the beige, black, white blend of colours and a blush toe means it actually goes with almost anything.

I've paired it with a black dress here but it's really versatile. I didn't think it at first but it's fun, cute and classy all at the same time.

True to size, with a wider toe box. Could size down by half. I didn't here so they're really comfy.

Honestly, don't walk, run... in these.

Fannylove 85mm lamb Nappa (I also have these in 100mm and 120mm)

These are totally a staple shoe to have in your collection.

*Comfortable

*Inbuilt platform to make them seem higher.

*Everlasting sole

*Comes in different leathers and styles (shown is nappa)

I can run to the Uber, walk on cobblestones and last in these babies.

Yes, they're plain but they are still sexy and when you're in them all day, that's a must!

If you're looking for something that will last to invest your $$$, this is it. The wear you'll get of them will make them worth it.

Slay!

I recently had the privilege of visiting Chef Mirko's restaurant- Somma Restaurant and was totally blown away from the start of being greeted by the whole team to the intricate details and story telling of the Puglian Italian dishes.

The option to add on the cheese experience (infused cheeses paired with drinks - alcoholic and non-alcoholic) really topped it off in their beautiful wine cellar, which I wanted to share.

Without giving away too much, it's definitely worth visiting. This isn't just a meal but an experience to remember and revisit after every season.
