How does the actor - or anyone else at the scene - not care enough...?

I recently made two purchases using special emailed promos (like the one attached) from unique emails and different stores. Both were tracked, but one earned $0 because of the "Limit 1 email activation per user," or so I was told. Basically, email support said that a user can't do more than one of these, but didn't explain the timeframe: once per month, year, or lifetime of the account?
On top of that, if they have already tracked me making a purchase with an emailed offer bonus, shouldn't they stop emailing me more if I no longer qualify?
Some of us didn’t splurge on $10 gift cards at Newegg on day one (I only spent $80), but since then we’ve made several purchases at Dunkin, Wendy’s, Domino’s, Sephora, Fanatics, and more. Dunkin was a bit “inorganic” due to the gift card allowance, but the rest have been organic, individual purchases close to $10, one or two a day.
The idea behind Paze is that banks save money by processing cards through a system they control collectively, rather than using a third party. I assume they’ve promised retailers some savings and extra sales by offering consumer incentives like this. I’m not sure how it will play out for us in the long run, with banks controlling both the cards and the processing, but for now, we can enjoy the perks.
EDIT: Wow, hold on... This wasn’t meant as corporate shilling. I’m the first to tell my family and friends that corporations aren’t our friends and we should push them and take back some of what they take from society. I was just curious if anyone is making “regular” purchases instead of buying 10 gift cards in 10 minutes to max out the promo right away (and yes, I did that at DD!).
I don't qualify for the CSR SUB, by my SO does. I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize that the 150K SUB had been going on for a while and ending on June 15th. Just wondering if it'll come back... With all the other cards we have, we're not in a rush.
There should be a single weekly "welcome" thread where new card owners can share their excitement and can be welcomed to the tribe. Otherwise, those posts are just tiring.
And while we are at it, same for the "I got my CL increase!"...
I hate that Lightroom Classic is not *natively* available on ARM-based Windows systems. I hope with these new Nvidia Spark system-on-a-chip PCs that are definitely going to give Macbooks a run for their money, Adobe will get off their asses and bring support for Windows users!
I am typing this from a M4-Pro Macbook, but I would love to go back to Windows because that's home to me... I am only on a Mac because of the hardware.
I’m currently rewatching season one of The Rings of Power, and I think the show is really well-paced. The multiple converging stories building out this world, the practical makeup / special effects, and cinematography are genuinely top-tier. Given how incredible it looks and feels, the sheer volume of negative reviews has always puzzled me. Okay, so they made up a bunch from mere breadcrumbs (they had to, due to rights issues), but it's hard to ignore that a huge portion of the initial backlash felt fueled by a toxic mix of rigid purists and online review-bombing campaigns targeted at the diverse casting. When you look past that noise, I think it is a great fantasy show!
EDIT: I am not a LoTR book reader, clearly. I however love the movie trilogy and own it; we watch them often in our house. But those movies aren't perfect either... there are some excellent sequences, but there is also cringe in there, plenty. So nothing is perfect; nothing needs to be... and there are people who truly like the RoP.
Hopefully a majority agrees with charging additional taxes to those who can afford to own multimillion dollar second homes, especially in affluent areas like Westchester county.
All evidence says this 1985 movie was filmed in BC and Alberta, but I am looking for this specific spot, and AI was unable to pinpoint this location. Looks very beautiful to me and I would love to go visit and photograph it!
What kind of banana republic are with living in guys?!?
