is there anywhere to ask about what to do about possibly abusive mod behaviour?

I don't think this is against the rules, but if it is, then mods, strike it down lol

regarding needless criticism of other people's styles - (rant/discussion) show me your style down below if you'd wish so I can compliment them <3

Feel free to add any of your thoughts or personal anecdotes in the comments below. I'm somewhat new to this subreddit (first post around 4-5 months ago!) so let me know if I'm missing any details.

It's been quite upsetting seeing a rise of unwarranted (and almost always unwanted) criticism of each other's specific styles. This has always been a problem, but I've been seeing people grow bolder about this recently. There is genuinely no real good reason to make a post calling a specific kind of style "weird" or "jarring" or anything else negative.

Most people are not going to change their style just because you make a post saying how much you dislike their kind of style. All this does is make some people feel bad about their own style.

If someone makes an "I dislike this kinda style" post so they can see if others agree with them, a kind of seeking solidarity of sorts, that's quite childish and immature - and honestly, comes off as so rude and mean - to be bonding over agreeing on how much you dislike seeing a real human being's Gacha style that they probably quite love.

Yes, it earns you quick karma. Yes, you may be happy to see others agree with you. But at the end of the day, what these posts are saying do affect others. Imagine how you would feel if people constantly commented on your posts, "why is your style so xyz", "why do you do xyz in your style", "I don't really like your style, sorry".

To those people who dislike small head + long leg styles because "Gacha is meant to be chibi" - just because you have that point of view that Gacha = chibi, does not mean that the game actually intends for a chibi style! That is what you believe and your impression. There are plenty of presets in both Gacha Club (from what I remember) and GL2 that are very realistic or non chibi styles.

The art even inside of Gacha Club is often not chibi. Gacha World, which was one of Lunime's first Gacha games, does NOT have a chibi style! Even in Gacha Life (1), there was an option for smaller heads. Lunime Gacha games were never meant as only chibi.

Negativity and complaining that doesn't bring about positive change really is no good. It always is harmful. I've had friends quit because of too much needless criticism. It costs nothing to be kind. It costs nothing to just downvote and scroll, or block and scroll, or just...scroll!

There is nothing wrong with small heads + long legs styles! There is nothing wrong with chibi styles! There is nothing wrong with styles that are in between. Whether you have simpler designs, more detailed designs, in between, or a mix, everyone's style is fun to look at and we shouldn't be criticising styles if unasked for.

TLDR: If you have nothing nice to say about someone's Gacha style, just please, don't say it! Unless they're asking for critique on their style specifically.

I would love to see your style if you'd like to share, and I'd like to compliment everyone's style individually because we are all unique and creative humans that have all developed our own different personal Gacha styles - and all in the same app! It's amazing to see how different our styles all are.

gay couple *bluntly* rates your OC lore ! doing everyone

(for me, it still says Friday btw!! some time zones may not be Friday)

Here's how this is going to work. Read all the rules please!! If you don't follow em, uhhh I'll be weird and downvote you...sorryyy

Grey hair (Orion) is the critical one. He is overly honest and will be quite rude if he dislikes something. Blonde hair (Castiel/Cassity) is a bit nicer and will compliment you on what you have done well. am I using these OCs so people don't get mad if I'm blunt? yes

Rules -

 1. One OC please.
 2. Proper paragraph formatting. For me, that's around 4-7 sentences per paragraph. Maximum two full Reddit comments.
 3. Put your favourite animal emoji. 🐻🐶🦊
 4. Remember, this is a blunt and somewhat critical post.
 5. No RP please!
 6. My OCs (me) have their preferences.
 7. I will try to give real constructive criticism while still staying somewhat in character.

‼️friendly reminder to please not call my OCs twinks/femboys or compare them to media!! ‼️

staring at their height difference critically...(tbh that's me (shorter one) with most of my friends)

can we please listen to each other's boundaries and preferences on this subreddit?

I made a post about this OC recently and someone called him a twink. Fine, whatever, I hate that, but maybe they just skimmed over my post and didn't see where I said not to. I have it stated in my profile not to do that and when I have posted here before, I always make it clear. I state it in most of my posts involving my male OCs unless they're kids or something (which should be a given to not label a kid a twink or femboy...)

I told them politely to not call my OCs femboys or twinks and for some reason, got down voted 😭 this reminded me of how some of my friends have told me when they defend themselves or express boundaries (for example, telling people their OC is a boy when people mistake them for a girl or telling people their boundaries about their OCs), they often get down voted for simply having preferences and being uncomfortable with certain subjects.

Respect your fellow Gacha creators and acknowledge that many of them don't like when you directly cross their boundaries/rules. If they restate to you their boundary after you break it, then respect that and own up to it. We're people, not just random floating profiles.

Edit: Adding on to this whole topic, please treat each other like we're human. I'd strongly advise not to idolise any online figure because that gets uncomfortable for both that idol and sometimes for you. If you want to compliment someone? great!! :D but everyone has boundaries and it would do well to remember those. A lot of people are also scared to firmly set their boundaries. I know I am, so even if I'm upset, I try to be polite and kind about it. I will probably be more assertive about restating boundaries in the future.

If you dislike someone's style, please just don't be rude about it and comment it for no reason. I've seen this happen way too much. So what if you think someone's style is "ugly" or "weird?" That's subjective. Remember, at the end of the day, there's a human behind the screen.

begging on my knees for people to be able to recognise him as a man somewhat instantly 😭🙏🏻 I really dislike macho male characters so all my men are lowk a little bit of a softer handsome type

please do not say anyth about "make his shoulders wider", A, this is my style, and B, I know plenty of men without wide shoulders.

next character I make WILL have long hair again but hopefully look a lot more manly to people or something idkkkkkkkkkk

official launcher not updating properly for me (says fails to update) and I can't get into Java Edition

Bedrock edition is working fine, albeit slower than usual. I usually use a client for Java, but when that stopped working (wouldn't launch even after waiting an hour), I first tried deleting the client and all associated files then using Minecraft official launcher from the Microsoft store, and that didn't work either so I tried switching to a different client and it didn't work.

Any tips?

Every time I have Edge open for about 20 minutes, it crashes and closes

this only started yesterday and I've tried many things to fix it; repair, uninstalling and re installing; etc

I wonder if it's a system wide problem because my Minecraft launcher has stopped loading and working properly too

new Elisabeth design yayay || my Elisabeth rates your Elizabeths

I was going to make an actually edited character card for her but I'm lowk not that motivated to post here rn

uhhh she's 25% Ukrainian, 25% Kazakh, and 50% Caucasian

note because idk if everyone knows this: Kazakhstan is mostly in Asia and from what I know from one of my friends that is from there, it is somewhat offensive to assume Kazakhs are European.

the Ukrainian and Kazakh come from the purple dad idk. Elisabeth's birth name is Elisaveta but I just put Elisabeth in the title for ease of understanding. She usually goes by Elisa-Marie.

hi, new mod ! is there any way to IP ban or something similar a user that has been banned before from the subreddit and keeps making new accounts to come back?

for context, I run a (relatively small) subreddit where people can post their own creations. This is the sister subreddit to a larger subreddit made for the same purpose. This user has already been banned from the larger subreddit, and also from the one I run (there's a rule where you can't run to the smaller subreddit and use it as a backup after being banned from the larger subreddit).

This user makes new accounts frequently to post their content and we catch it every time, but it's a hassle. Is there anything I can do?

hihi, making you a child OC OR remaking your OC in my style

Rules for making you a child (4-11) OC -

 1. give me a prompt, description of whatever you want me to include. the rest, I'll just improvise. Please include age.
 2. you can use the OC for whatever. I'll give you the code, etc. This will be in GL2. Also, please credit me !!
 3. Has to be a child OC since I want to practice my child style right now !
 4. Include a 🐻.

I won't do every prompt, just the ones that interest me (my style genuinely takes upwards of 1+ hours to make an OC and if I get really invested, 2-3 hours or more sometimes) the age part is also just the range I want to practice. warning in advance that I might make the OC into one of my OCs if I like how the design turns out

Rules for remaking your OC in my style -

 1. choose either adult or child, not really doing teens right now since I'm mainly trying to practice kids and adults.
 2. Gender and any important characteristics.
 3. Send one OC.
 4. Code preferred!
 5. Include a 🐶.

I won't redesign every OC since same reason as above. The difference in this case is that I'll probably see OCs that interest me but I just don't have the time or energy to do !!

bit confused rn, would like some advice, thanks for any help

Hi, I usually try not to ask for help in the subreddit so I don't clog it up, but felt like I needed some direction and advice.

My main question is, where do I proceed from here? Should I start doing techniques again (affirming and etc)? Should I just stop thinking about them and let it flow? I think I must be doing something wrong if I don't see visible movement for months, except when I saw them at school and there were occasional weird interactions

I'm manifesting an SP that is technically an ex back into my life. While we were in school and seeing each other (it is summer), they were often gone due to sickness and when they were here, I could see movement in a way (either them taking special interest in me sometimes and often negative, which I wouldn't accept because I know I deserve better than that) or I was quite confident in my manifestation. I've been manifesting since last year October and I know I definitely haven't done a lot of things right, I worried, I spiralled, I obsessed, etc.

That got a lot better in March where I barely had any negative thoughts and if I did, I could redirect them easily + I was confident in my manifestation. In June, for some reason, I just stopped affirming, stopped everything, stopped thinking about SP a lot and I don't know why. I didn't stop believing in loa but I also didn't keep practising it I suppose? I would try to keep my thoughts about SP positive, maybe some fantasising/imaginal acts in my head, but I've noticed recently, that when I think about SP, I'm upset about the way they acted immaturely and treated me wrongly. I would say that I am quite mature for my age (though I obviously have my emotional failings) which is why the immaturity, mixed signals, occasional hot and cold, upset me so much. I've tried releasing the anger, which has helped, but I still feel hurt and would like advice on what to do.

SP was also gone from school due to illness for the last two months of school so I guess I wasn't able to see visible movement and still am not right now because of summer.

Something I'm worried about is that I was actually seeing movement and etc when I started in October, but in January, there was an incident where SP was shown my manifestation journal by someone I thought I could trust, and they blocked me, was rude to me, all that. I've noticed that recently, I've tried to not think about SP because either it hurts to think about them being gone long in the 3D despite me knowing time doesn't matter, or me just not wanting to keep obsessing over them.

虬莲 (Qiú Lián)

A girl borne from a dragon egg. awsl aaaaa

She has no dragon blood, yet exhibits dragon characteristics due to her unusual incubation in a dragon egg. Her father is a god who does not really care to raise his own children, who are merely long-living beings at best and very rarely, immortal. Little Lián developed into an immortal though, due to being a human nursed as a dragon. Her father transferred her developing embryo to a dead/stillborn egg, and she developed draconic features from her environment in the egg and from partially absorbing the stillborn dragon for nutrients.

It is actually quite a bit of a miracle the child survived being incubated in such a strange setting.

Her clothes are woven from scrap cloth and shed dragon scales. Typically, a dragon would eat their own shed for extra calcium and essence^(1) but Qiú Lián is allowed to take up to a quarter of each dragon's shed. She has a dragon mount since her wings are very weak, and that dragon is her adoptive brother, the only surviving true dragon from their litter.

Dragons are typically quite solitary though most do enjoy hanging around the same territories as other dragons. Little Lián sees her mother from time to time.

Qiú Lián has never met her father.

虬 (qiú) - little dragon with horns. I've also seen it mean wingless dragon in contradicting texts. The main meaning in Qiú Lián's name is the first translation, but her wings are quite weak.

莲 (lián) - Lotus and purity in a spiritually enlightened sense, also "出淤泥而不染", or "it grows from mud yet it isn't soiled". The last part from a poem is not related to little Lián, I just like that poem a lot. (I hope I remembered the line right)

First time I haven't edited a post other than the original GL2 screenshot in a loooooong time; I felt it suited this post and her better

everything points to SA, but I genuinely can't remember anything. kind of need advice? freaking out a bit

Sorry if flair is wrong and sorry for the long post. I didn't really know where else to post this.

Even back in primary school, I remember being intensely aware of my body. I'm extremely uncomfortable with being naked around people because it feels more vulnerable. I've also had somewhat sexual (without knowing it was sexual) thoughts from a young age, and while I haven't explored visual porn, I have read explicit "kink related" writings before and while I don't really get off to it, in a way, I feel the intense need to read and analyse them. I don't know how much information is important/relevant to this topic so I probably have left some pertinent details out.

I have had sex with my partner before, but I remember being so tense to the point they could barely get one finger inside, despite me actively being aroused, and I felt this intense, primal fear, like a wild animal that I don't remember ever feeling anytime else except in specific instances such as:

being choked. I cannot handle the feeling of hands on my neck and I don't know why. I play a sport (water polo) and whenever I feel hands on my throat, I start to freak out internally and have to shut it down. This sounds kinda normal but I've never really met anyone else on the team or otherwise who has such a strong maybe even overreaction to being choked.

Being trapped, cornered, encroached on. Less fear since I've gotten used to the feeling over the years.

Additionally, I am already very well aware that I have always had a penchant for what I think would be categorised as maladaptive daydreaming, where I go off in my own imagination for prolonged periods of time in a third person view and almost never as myself. People have also said I disassociate when upset and the earliest disassociation incident I remember was from when I was 6.

Somewhat related to the daydreaming thing, whenever I have explicit thoughts, they are almost always third person and not from my point of view but about characters I invent in my head. I never imagine myself in anything sexual yet I am willing and perfectly capable of desiring physical relations with someone I care about.

My parents are currently emotionally and were previously physically abusive. I know I've struggled with mental health before, but I thought I was getting better. I have gotten a lot better with mental health, but now that my head is clearer, I have more time to muse and ponder on this. I think what inherently stops me from believing I was SA'ed is that I don't remember it at all which is unusual because I have a very strong memory (first clear memory was from when I was 4 months old).

I also can't conflate it with who I am as a person right now: my grades are good, so those aren't negatively affected. I have many close relationships, even if I don't always tell them everything (except for 1 or 2 people). I have a good friend group. People generally like me. It doesn't make sense.

People I've confided in tell me that it points to SA.

:/ she knows what she did. || desc for context because there's an update I don't think everyone knows a lot about

Beowulf (remember them? the person who scammed Chibimation out of $10k?) has come back after almost a year of silence and she posted a statement saying that a lot of the rumours about her are false. She said she'd been struggling with serious mental health issues, was being evaluated for schizophrenia, and that those struggles led to things like her relying on AI and making poor decisions. She apologized for using AI and for promoting an AI app, but many people felt the statement focused more on explaining her behaviour than taking responsibility for the problems that happened during Chibimation.

She has apparently rebranded as JesterPup and is now developing a new furry browser game called Furrytopia. She's been recruiting volunteers through Reddit and Discord, and there are plans for a future Kickstarter. The concern is that many people in the furry community don't know about the Chibimation controversy, since the project is being promoted under a different name + whenever anything remotely revealing is brought up, "JesterPup" acts as if they are not actually Beowulf.

The biggest issue people still have is the Chibimation Ko-fi fundraiser. Over $10,000 was raised for the game's development, and although Beowulf recently released a document showing some of the expenses, critics say it only accounts for part of the money. They argue that thousands of dollars are still unexplained, that some purchases didn't match what donors were originally told the funds would be used for, and that she never provided the level of financial transparency her former team requested. Also, Beowulf has lied before in the past so take that as you will.

Beowulf still hasn't fully taken accountability and the original video creator, Arssen is worried she'll repeat the same mistakes with Furrytopia, especially if it ends up being crowdfunded. Beowulf disputes many of the accusations and says misinformation has been spread about her, so some aspects of the situation remain contested, but that's the main reason people are warning others about the new project.

My thoughts -

I've also done my own research on this, so I'm not just blindly following what a video creator (Arssen) says.

"I have this disability so that makes all my actions okay", is what it seems like they're saying :/

I hate seeing mental disorders used as an excuse because people with it are already stigmatised enough. not saying she doesn't have what she claims to have, just saying she shouldn't bring up her possible mental conditions to be used as excuses. (this is coming from a neurodivergent person). We as bystanders can't really say if she has the disorders she claims or not (of course we can have our own opinions on that though), but regardless, the way she's hiding behind her alleged disabilities is scummy and harmful to people with those mental disorders.

I'm autistic + I have ADHD and anxiety (diagnosed), and I've struggled before and still do, but it's our responsibility to learn how to manage and regulate ourselves, neurodivergent or neurotypical whether that's through receiving help from others or working on yourself semi-alone.

Some mental disabilities might be harder to live with and we can be understanding of that, but that should never be an excuse to be a scummy person, and it's quite ironic she's using her possible disorders (not saying she doesn't have them btw) as a crutch when the community she scammed is full of neurodivergent people + I'm sure some of the people working with her are neurodivergent too (I forgot which video I heard that from)

I'm not an adult yet, but I had to learn self-control because that's how maturing works. We live in a society and there are certain gives and takes we all must agree to. Social contract.

TLDR: imo fuck Beowulf.

This took me a while to type, hope I haven't messed anything up. Link to the video I watched : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGyILhou3Z8&t=844s&pp=ygUJYmVvd3VsZnZ0

Róisín or 楓楓 / 小楓

I made her because of a Discord VC challenge we had in a Gacha server I'm in "yesterday" night (It's 1:33 AM right now). She was supposed to be based off of the paint colour, HC-44, but I sort of forgot that and was sidetracked 😅

Róisín (roh-sheen) means little rose. 楓 (fēng) is maple. 小 (xiǎo) is little. Her name in Chinese is "maple" (affectionately) or "little maple." She does not have a typical Chinese name with a last name and a name; 楓楓 is in a nickname style and 小楓 is an affectionate nickname.

She is a travelling merchant bunny girl.
