looking for help with moonlight / apollo streaming to deck -> tv @ 4k

i asked this on the moonlight sub a while ago and never got any help, so wondering if someone here knows.

I can stream from my main pc to my deck just fine, but if i stream to the steamdeck and then plug that into the TV (4K) the image is terrible.

I have tried setting the steam deck res to 4k, host pc to 4k and even apollo streaming to 4k.

sometimes it seems like the scaling has changed to 4k as everything looks small, but if i actually turn the scaling up to read it, it’s just stupidly blurry.

wondering if anyone has done the same and has some tips for me to copy or try
