Currently addicted to Camp Spirit. It’s so good. I played the first one when it came out and loved it too, but I used to just place animals, plants and objects randomly. I’m trying to be more organized and efficient this time lol.

When a deer hates other deer, do you place that deer far away from the others? Or do you just make them deal with it? Curious what others do, as I’m trying to organize my animals right now :)

It’s been days since I finished, and I’m still so sad about what happened to Doris. She thought her daughter believed in her interior design talents, but Alma was just trying to get rid of her. Imagine being the best mom you can be, and your child just throws you away like that. The scene where they >!release hairless Doris out of the house and into the wild!< was just so sad. Lily Rabe did a great job at playing a character I had so much empathy for. Red Tide was kind of The Shining meets Rosemary’s Baby with some vampirism thrown in, and I really enjoyed it.

There are certain scenes in this show that were so disturbing they’ll always stay with me. These include >!Dr. Arden climbing on top of Sister Mary’s body when she’s going into the incinerator, and Ma Petite’s murder!<. This one has now been added to the list.

Just wanted to let my thoughts out on Reddit because I don’t know people irl who watch the show.

I just made my 60th mii on my main island, and now I have to drag her around to greet everyone. It’s so tedious! 😂

You could add:

• Yourself of course!
• Real life people! Your family (if you have a good relationship with them) and your friends.
• This one is obvious: characters from movies, shows, and games you like. If you’re stumped or overwhelmed, start by making a list of your favorite shows and pick out one or two characters from each one.
• Book characters, if you like to read. This one could be fun because you’d be making your own interpretation of the character based on just the author’s description.
• Or, you could even make authors themselves. I made an Edgar Allan Poe and a Sylvia Plath. I was thinking Stephen King or William Shakespeare could be fun to make, too.
• Comic book characters, superheroes (or supervillains, mwahaha)
• Anime or manga characters
• Celebrities you like! This could include the members of your favorite band, singers/rappers, athletes if you’re into sports, famous actors…
• Celebrities you HATE! This one could be funny depending on your sense of humor. Can’t stand a certain actor to the point where you refuse to watch any movie they star in? Put them on your island and feed them moldy bread. 
• Politicians. Many people have an Obama. Plenty to choose from.
• Historical figures. I saw someone on Twitter with an Albert Einstein mii and thought that was a great idea.
• Your own original characters! Make a random dude and call him Bob. Make someone from the 1400s and give them phrases in Middle English. You can literally create anyone you can think up.
• Not great at coming up with your own characters, though? Check out all the different facial features you can use and see if they inspire anything. Vampire teeth? Make a vampire. Elf ears? Make a fantasy character. Check out the clothes, too. There's a toga - make an Ancient Roman. You could make a clown for the jester outfit, a cowboy for the cowboy outfits, etc.
• You could even make your pets. You could make a humanized version of your dog using the pigtails for ears. You could try making your cat using the face paint. Mess around with all the options!
• Memes/internet culture. I literally have a mii named Grape. His head is a grape with bandages on it and his catch phrase is “They did surgery on me.” Slenderman is a common one, because he’s incredibly easy to make. Think of memes that have made you laugh over the years or creepypastas that have stuck with you. Maybe you're into watching popular YouTubers or streamers - you could make them.
• Objects/food. Use the stamp feature to make a mii whose head is a slice of pizza. There are so many different stamps that could result in hilarious miis.
• Logos and mascots. Mr. Clean, the guy on the Quaker oatmeal boxes, Ronald McDonald...

I hope this is helpful to some people who are struggling to come up with miis! I may edit and add to this post if I think of more ideas.

You guys know what I’m talking about. I can’t remember the url.

I was such a huge fan of the 3DS game that I literally used birthday/Christmas money a few years ago to buy a second, modded 3DS so I could play two islands at once and have the travelers go back and forth.

I am having the fucking time of my life with Living the Dream. According to my Switch I’m 55 hours in, but it doesn’t feel that long at all. I don’t even have enough Miis to have the final island expansion yet. I have extra wishes in the fountain, but I know seasonal items are about to change in a few days, so my wishes aren’t useless and can be used then.

I believe Nintendo will provide some updates, but even if they don’t and this is it? I’m having so much fun lmao. I’m seeing so much criticism, so I’d just like to offer some praise.

I’m also 33 years old and I played the first game when I was 25, so I’m not blinded by childhood nostalgia or any of that jazz. Just a girl here happy with the game no matter what.
