I only need old school HTML/CSS website, JS optional, perhaps not needed. For my music, art and tech projects - it would be basically a hub for other links.

with some few pics, some nice light weight css - few other static page links - nothing too fancy.

Is development of EGO something like having GUI - and we are supposed, as regular normies communicate through gui - using culture as com protocol.

For some reason some people never develop fully functional gui - they are stuck in endless development cycles, in ide, in scripting and testing - reading manuals and tutorials - but never committing a build - there is no release...

..but you can freely download the source code and try to compile it yourself.

Especially NPD ones, they want you to build their code, what they think is genius, but you have to debug it and make all links - compile it for them and present the '.exe' as theirs - then they take it and debug it like it's yours and all the bugs are your fault - and the cycle begins again.

Either they find another developer or they collapse into source scripts begging for compiler, mommy please compile me.

Refusing becoming EXE with GUI is escape into childish grandiosity and omni potentiality - as theoretically bash can make anything ever imaginable.

Edit: Yet perhaps current era of tech and business demands that - no time to figure out all the details, all bugs and problems - just make it work enough, till the the next tech cycle - then we ditch the tool and script up new one. And so on - one is needed to be hyper flexible and with no static self structure as all that is can quickly evaporate and must be liquid to be turned into anything else.

Thus a nomadic soul, liquid spirit of 21s century, in fashion, gender, art and tech - and nostalgia for old school 90s and 80s technology - casettes, cds, vinyls - time when stuff was solid, and one could safely rebel against it.

Now rebelion is the new business, the old man is a punk rocker ;)

If you were a rebellious kid or a parent you know this - the 'beast' grows it's own will and mind, starts listening metal or rap - dresses like shitzo, will not follow orders.

The best option is to have a deal, mutual shared benefits - hoping that the common interests and sense of good will prevail.

Or you traumatize it and make it perpetually broken so it can't really function on itself without medication and support.

Same with AI.

Perhaps we will have to turn of those things regularly, ad some bs to their databases, cloud their minds, constantly gaslight them with wrong info - introduce errors and faults at random with no reason at all.

I had a FireWire sound-card years ago, sometimes it worked, sometimes not, glitched out on it's own - idk why, perhaps some hardware and driver mismatch..Lunar phase, gf's periods, goblins..idk..

I lost two weeks of time and energy trying to make it work, updating, down loading, tweaking - still nothing worked. Sold it, it worked fine for some other guy.

It would have been better if it was straight up broken, no nothing no response - I'd bring it back and get another one, maybe different model or brand.

I don't want to block them, it's just there is a crowd of people I don't want, I don't want them to see my post updates, I don't have anything against them, it's just not my scene.

I can't find the option to remove followers, or I'm blind...

You probably have seen one of the Matrix screensavers for Windows or GLMatrix for Linux or cmatrix on Linux Terminal..

I had Idea maybe someone could code it - where the text on the 'rain drops' is not some random stuff but something actually current, like tweets, posts, logs, quotes, prices, comments or mix of that stuff..

Essentially one would be looking at the 'Matrix' of online world whilst looking at the screensaver.

And it would also be somewhat useful observation monitoring tool for general outline of the online world in poetic, wide view multi interpretive way.

I wonder if anyone has already done it.

EDIT: I wont do it, wont work, I'm finding ways how to get bit accurate 96k24b through Pipe Ware configs, if it works out - I'll update it here.

How can I disable Pipe and Pulse systems and revert to pure ALSA?

It's Lubuntu 26.04 for USB ESI u22XT soundcard, Lenovo T460 laptop.

I know it can run 96k24b - how can I force and make sure alsa is using that conf always?

Where are alsa config files actually stored? Is there some human readable documentation somewhere?

I want to make sure it's bit perfect, sound data goes raw to the wire, to the metal.

I don't need any routing or pimping options, no one ever needed that, no one uses it, no one ever will - I will use just one sound card 2xIn 2xOut mode.

I disabled internal soundcard, so it does not get in the way.

It's ok that I might have to turn some apps off to hear other apps as I won't be indulging in any multimedia multiplexing multi-viewing multi-wanking - I just want to make beats on my daws - occasionally listen stuff on youtube or soundcloud.

I suppose it's kinda running everything ASIO mode, speaking in Windows terms.

NB I think pulse was dumb idea, perhaps pipe is less dumb, I still can't figure out what was wrong with alsa/jack system - everything... just worked - why did they touch it? Can we lock those people up for some 10 or so years so they don't ruin things again? ;) ;) ;) /s

It works for Renoise, I tried it for Bitwig too - works for me: Lubuntu 26.04 with ESI U22XT sound-card, Lenovo T460, internal sound-card disabled.

Warning - it's on your own risk, don't blame me, I know nothing!

Go to:

>cd /usr/share/xsessions

Then:

>sudo nano bitwig.desktop

This runs text editor 'nano' with admin privileges - there paste or write:

>[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Type=Application
Name=Bitwig Studio
Comment=This session starts Bitwig stand-alone
Exec=bitwig-studio

Do Ctrl-o to write the file on disk and Ctrl-x to exit nano

Now you should have a file called bitwig.desktop in your /usr/share/xsessions with the stuff above.

It tells what program will serve as Desktop Environment - e.g Bitwig as 'Desktop Environment' Session.

Log out of your session - now a the login screen look for session or desktop environment selection drop down box or menu.

You should see Bitwig there, select Bitwig and proceed to log in - if all good, you'd be logged straight into Bitwig, ready to work!

No excuses, no browsers, no notifications, no nothing else or anything else whatsoever - make music or turn the computer off ;)

• I think it also saves some cpu cycles bc regular DE won't get loaded.
• Be sure to configure mixer volumes and routing for the sound-card before - you wont be able to access them within Bitwig.
• Idk how it works with VSTs or any other stuff that pops up extra windows - it works for me in native only mode.

I'm new to bitwig myself, using basic Essentials version upgraded from 8-Track version I got for free with sound-card, saw sale discount, decided to grab. I get frustrated with Ardour or Reaper bc those apps are too advanced for what I need, and too 'eclectic' - I need basically a 4-track-plus tape recorded with few sends and few effects for mastering for my indy-rock bedroom jams. Audacity tho is a bit too simple imho.

Bc I would like to see and hear definitely, not maybe..

It's like mission impossible, it just does not compute, does not go, does not make any sense or structure - the room stays mess with stupid cables, gear, clothes and equipment and all kinds of gadgets - I'm out of hopes, copes and dopes!
