I want to be fully transparent about something that really annoyed me when I noticed it.
​
Sidstuga had a billing/access issue where some users were being pushed to pay before they could properly try and use the app. That was not intentional at all.
​
The whole point was always simple:
you should be able to use the app during the 7-day trial, test it properly, see if it works well for you, and only subscribe if you actually like it.
​
I only noticed this properly tonight, and honestly it hurt because it means people may have opened the app, felt blocked, and left before even trying what I’ve been building.
​
The issue has now been fixed.
​
I’m also still cleaning up and improving a few things, including Amazon/Fire TV stability, Cast, hidden channel/category handling, and reordering channels inside favourites.
​
Sorry to anyone affected by this. I’m building Sidstuga seriously, step by step, and I’d rather be honest when something goes wrong than pretend everything was perfect.

I’m the developer of Sidstuga, a new IPTV player I’ve been building for Android, tablets and Android TV.
Just to be clear from the start:
Sidstuga does not provide streams, playlists, channels, providers or subscriptions.
It’s only a player. You bring your own legal IPTV source.
The focus is:
The app should already be live, but Google Play delayed the public release because I had to fix some required Android TV launcher/banner assets. The app itself is ready — I’m just waiting for the corrected release to be approved.
I’m not posting this as “another IPTV provider” because it isn’t one. I’m mainly looking for real feedback from IPTV users:
