Kabaddi is an ancient Indian sport dating from more than 4000 years ago, but it only became popular worldwide very recently. I have always admired the story of Anand Mahindra transforming the game popularly viewed as backward and childish into a national and international sensation by giving it a professional glamorous image with the Pro Kabaddi League, as told in the People Play Games and Bloomberg videos, but I read on Wiki that the global spread of Kabaddi apparently dates back to sometimes before the PKL.
I talked to a few people from that generation who had a lot of people saying that that is bound to happen to them when they were about to go overseas to study and/or work. Even though a trip in America is no longer something that is gonna merit you a celebratory call and warning to maintain the country's image from the Vietnamese CIA like my professor did, those people still apparently express that sentiment a lot today whenever someone is about to live overseas for an extended period of time.
We talk much about how the patriotic hymns should be dropped as we are a global church now, but ass a thought exercise, would the anthem your country, or say the anthem of the country you served your mission in, make a decent patriotic hymn? Does it remind you of a gospel principle? Does it contradict the Restored Gospel in any way?
The gimmick can be swappable visors and/or mouthpiece. Befitting the Reiwa trend to revisit the old roots, it would be very nice callbacks to Riderman and X. Would also leave the whole body open for interesting designs too.
Hi! I am an able-bodied person, but I have been a long-time fan of the Paralympics. It has always been so cool to watch wheelchair-bound people compete better and harder than many of the able-bodied athletes I know, and it is insane how skilled they are aside from that, like the moves they can pull off in their wheelchairs in wheelchair basketball, and the shots they make in boccia. I have heard that many para sports can be played by able bodied people with the relevant adaptations, like the blindfold glasses for blind soccer, so I would really love to give them a try cuz they look so cool! Anyone who plays some of those in Vietnam, please reach out. I obviously won't be so good at playing or moving around on wheechairs like people who has been doing so forr a long time, but it will be an opportunity for me to learn too! So many of us still have a low opinion of disabed people, and it was really awesome how watching the Paralympics changed that perception completely for me, and I hope I can help people around me do the same too. My favorite sports to watch in the Paralympics are wheelchair basketball, blind soccer, wheelchair rugby and boccia, and I would love to play them! Also really recommend the REAL manga, it is from the author of Slam Dunk and is about wheelchair basketball, and it is much deeper and better than Slam Dunk IMO in how it digs very deep into the psyche of wheelchair-bound people.

Ib love that MV so much because Al was the greatest dancer ever there, but I never could find any tape of him doing it live, and I imagine all the dance moves are pretty hard for him to pull off now
How common is it where you are and how do you feel about it?
For me, I am a YSA living in a branch with mostly YSAs and very few married couples and fewer with kids, mostly foreigners and leaderships. It is very rare for couples here to be so openly affectionate, so when seeing all the visiting GAs and mission leaders couples cuddling and sneaking kisses at each other's on the stands was always the coolest thing ever to me and always make my heart melt. Seeing loving happy families like that and the missionary who got the faith to serve thanks to the teaching of their parents made me desire to raise a strong family in the Gospel of Jesus Christ too.
As someone from a country where academic sport is far from revered like it is in the US, it was a surprise for me to learn, and something I love to share with other people, how the football sports first originated among schools in England as an educational tool. However, I was reading about another answer about how soccer was not prevalent in the US, and one cause was that the American pro teams ignored colleges as a source of talent, which is the case in the US but not anywhere else in the world. How did schools lose their place as primary sources of youth sport talent in Britain and elsewhere?

I was kinda disappointed in the new update. Besides some game-breaking bugs (to me personally), playing in California was not the addictive experience that was vanilla CK3 China at all, partly because there is sooooo little mobility, Merit does actually matter a whole lot but nepotism-soft locked titles make the grind agonizing. But I was kinda turned off trying Brazil itself because I am really at a loss as to how to get started in it. As a custom noble In China, grinding exams and climbing the ranks is very intuitive, but how do I get started in Brazil?

I was playing and saw that suddenly all my score bonuses in succession from marrying into the Talanque house was lost, and I saw that the Governor was apparently deposed by a faction, and the new Governor had the Andreas title, and now the law is Californian Bureaucratic instead of Californian Regency Succession. It was beneficial for me cuz I suddenly was 2nd instead of 4th in line but it kinda ruined my RP
In vanilla China, I really love playing as a Minister and doing various tasks and projects across the realm and working towards the Honored Minister modifiers, it is a very unique and awesome role-playing experience and I am kinda sad Brazil and Cali do not have that yet.
California already have Ministries in lore IIRC, perhaps they could become playable?
