Built a completely free Maths & Reasoning practice app for competitive exams, looking for honest feedback

IMP Note:
I hope this doesn't come across as self-promotion. I built this app primarily to help competitive exam aspirants practice Maths and Reasoning, and it's completely free to use there are no paid features or paywalls. I recently added English support, so I thought it might be useful for a wider audience here. I'm also genuinely looking for feedback from serious aspirants on what could be improved.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The app focuses on Maths and Reasoning practice for competitive exams and includes:

• 3000+ practice MCQs
• Detailed step-by-step solutions
• Short tricks for faster solving
• Topic-wise practice
• Daily challenges and streaks
• Progress tracking
• Leaderboards and XP
• Maths and Reasoning topics commonly asked in competitive exams

A lot of effort has gone into making the explanations beginner-friendly rather than just showing the answer. The goal was to create something that helps students understand concepts and improve speed over time.

I originally built it with Gujarati students in mind, but I've recently started adding English support so more aspirants can benefit from it.

I'm not selling anything here, I'd honestly appreciate genuine feedback:

  • Are the explanations helpful?
  • Are the short tricks actually useful?
  • What features would make it more valuable for SSC and other competitive exam aspirants?
  • What would you change or add?

If you'd like to try it, you can simply search for "GujMath" on the Google Play Store or use this link: GujMath App Link.

If you decide to try it out, I'd really appreciate any honest criticism. Even small suggestions can help improve the app for everyone.

Thanks, and best of luck with your preparation!

Is it allowed to use Rewarded Ads as purely optional "support the app" ads?

Hi everyone,

I’m thinking of adding a rewarded ad flow in my app where the user voluntarily decides whether they want to watch an ad or not.

The important part is:

  • The reward/content progression is granted regardless of whether the user watches the ad.
  • The ad is purely optional and meant as a way for users to support the app.

For example, imagine a quiz app:
After a few questions, I show a popup like:
"Would you like to watch an ad to support the app?"

  • If the user watches the ad → continue.
  • If the user declines → they can still continue normally.

So there is no gated content, no forced reward, and no penalty for skipping.

My question:
Is this allowed under AdMob rewarded ad policies, or could this be considered a policy violation in some way?

Would appreciate insights from anyone who has implemented something similar.

Free Gujarati Math & Reasoning App for Students - 2100+ MCQs, PYQs, Tricks & Quizzes

I've created a free Android application in my free time as a side project to help Gujarati students in Math & Reasoning, as most students suffer in these topics. I always wanted to create something that helps students from Gujarat. The goal is to reach as many students as possible.

This app consists of around 2100+ MCQs from 25+ topics. I have added formulas and short tricks for all topics wherever applicable. Other than this, quizzes are also there, and students can practice quizzes unlimited times for their chosen topic. I've added around 25 PYQs as well (will add more later) for practice. I kept everything free, no feature is behind a paywall.

I will try to make the app fully fledged and ENOUGH for Math & Reasoning preparation, so that students can get everything required at a single place without any cost. Any suggestions/feedback would be appreciated.

Here's the application link. You can give it a try and drop your suggestions! Many thanks!

Sharing my experience so you shouldn't face the same!

I've completed my closed testing period and got production access, but my first release itself got rejected in production. Reason? I uploaded a "blank white background" as the feature image. The review already took a week, and now I will have to wait for another week to get it reviewed again. Make sure not to upload anything just to go live in a hurry!
