I have a 590 that was exposed to heat a few days ago and was just hot enough to catch suit and shit now it’s rusting constantly what will help

I have a 590 that was in a fire near where it was stored and i cleaned it up same day and oiled the crap out of it and then the day after I pulled it out and it’s for surface rust. It’s very fine and wipes off with a rag but I put it away yesterday it was completely black and covered in oil and today it’s completely dry and slightly red. Do I need to to oil bath it or use a penetrating oil other than gun oil. I know heat can make guns absorb alot of oil but how long am I gonna have to keep oiling this thing before it stops

So I’m trying to buy a master cylinder for my front disc rear drum challenger

I’m trying to figure out is this one will work well for my manual break set up on a 74 challenger I don’t have any experience with brakes other than changing pads so please help google has overwhelmed me with info. I have a leak form what looks like the rear of the master cylinder. It will leak the whole rear reservoir overnight and it takes like 5 pumps the get the brake to engage. Tho that could be that I didn’t bleed the breaks well enough.

I’m a bit worried about this oil pressure. When it warmed up it was still about 60

74 challenger with 360ci motor, This is the first start in 6 weeks. I changed the oil 6 weeks ago after 20 years sitting. It’s running 10w-40 with zzdp added. What do you guys think? Stuck oil pump valve? Idk what I’m doing here so I need some guidance.

I kinda forgot about these 2 for 2 years are they still good?

So I kind of hid these from myself for 2 years and I’m wondering if they are still good to try they got left to ferment in a dark place and there they stay until a few days ago. No floaters or anything strange but I’m sure there is a yeast slurry on bottom that’s no good. What’s go you guys think

Got the oil changed and water in the radiator. Now we see how it does

I went with 10w40 and a zddp additive seems to be working fine but the oil pressure seems high still but I didn’t get to let it get up to operating temp today

What do you guys think should be my next move?

Just finished the carb rebuild and cleaned the points but still running a little rough. Was planning on changing the oil tomorrow with 20w-50 as that’s what was recommended to me but I want opinions. 74 challenger 360

Got the car moved but I’m wondering what’s going on with this suspension. 74 challenger

So I’m wondering why the suspension is set up with this added bar on the bottom taking away all ground clearance. What do yall guys think is going on. Also I rebuilt a carb for the first time today so I’m nervous to fire it up but hopefully it all works out. I’m putting a fuel pressure regulator in the line because the electric fuel pump I installed had been overpowering the float needles. I did put in off-road spring loaded needles to help because it’s gonna be test driving on rough roads any advice yall have would be appreciated

I need hose replacements for my 74 challenger 360ci

I’m trying to find kits of hoses that I can replace all vacuum hoses, brake lines, coolant hoses and possibly fuel lines. And anything else you good people suggest replacing on a car that has sat for 20 years. Also I have to rebuild the carb or have it done but I’d like to get the lines and breaks working in the mean time the engine does run but it’s getting fuel into oil so I’m ordering a new fuel pump.
