Shells are dead, that is how the Harbinger can inhabit them. But how can the Shells assist in jumps and like how did Harros saved the Harbinger?

btw I just unlocked Genessa so havent seen how she handles the assisted jumps since she has a different connection to the Harbinger compared to the other shells

TLDR: an anti fog coating like ZEISS AntiFOG Kit is way better than using those anti fog desiccant pads.

So recently I acquired a DJI Osmo Action 1 for like 80-ish USD (camera + waterproof case + 2 extra batteries + charging dock) and compared the to 50USD SJCAM i was using to record my scooter commute like a dashcam, the quality is literally heaven and hell.

Apart from some minor gripes about how the loop recording functions in DJI cameras, the main issue with the Action 1 is that since the camera is so old, the rubber coating/section literally peeled off like scooping ice cream (ngl it was kinda satisfying to do)

So now the camera was without any buttons and more importantly without any water resistance/proofing.

Some quick 3D printing solved the button problem.

So I had to use the waterproof case to use the camera. and the immediate fogging caused a lot of concern. (I am from India btw).
After looking up some videos and posts and asking some LLMs, most if not all of them recommended to use the desiccant pads.
so I ordered some. and unfortunately those are quite a hassle to use. since I will be using the camera on a regular basis, and often multiple times a day, placing the pads in case was too much of a hassle. and not to mention due to the rainy season they are like soaked in just one use.

so I tried ZEISS AntiFOG Kit, thinking if it is good and "soft" enough to be put on glasses then is worth a shot.

AND IT WORKED WONDERS! the case fogged up a bit as the camera heated up but the lens part which I had coated remained clear from the fog, even after multiple days!

just a tip: once you apply the coating, you should not touch the treated the surface at all. coz where ever you touch you will remove the coating and it will fog at that particular place. so be patient while applying the coat and properly follow the instructions, when done correctly there would be no stains in the first place.

I use "nd lyrics" plugin in navidrome. and download/cache the entire library to my phone.

I can see in the logs that apart from a few exceptions, the lyrics are being fetched and the lyric files are stored next to their songs as well. and even properly showed when playing music on symfonium.

But if I go "offline" the lyrics stop showing as well only a few songs show the lyrics.

so can I keep the copy the lyrics files directly to my phone instead? and will it fetch the lyrics from local files when in offline mode?

I just finished the game and already have some theory about the last level of the game.

So we know that a Dark One (DO), is keeping an eye on Artyom and maybe possibly guiding him towards the miracle medicine. it may even be the Little One from Last Light.

and after encountering the Blind Ones (BO), we hear the thoughts of the BO as they search for us.

now, if you take too long to sneak around them, the anomaly just outside the building will get close and it seems to severely affects the BOs. so much so that they dont react even when running on broken glass.

I think the Dark Ones are controlling the Anomaly to help Artyom.

I think that is the case because BOs are also capable of telepathy. but due to them being more "primitive" and more animalistic compared to human and DOs, their thoughts and behaviours are solely dictated by their hunger for food or aggression towards any intruder in their territory. and their telepathy is just broadcasting it.

that is why DOs cannot influence their minds to the same effect as they can do with humans. so they use science to their advantage. coz in the most basic of sense, thoughts are nothing but electrical impulses in the brain. and nothing disrupts electricity more than the Anomaly.

the DOs can just straight up teleport around places. so it is not that far of a reach to think that they learned a way to create/control anomalies themselves, maybe the off the scale radiation in the city boosted their abilities or something.

TLDR: I think the Dark Ones are controlling the Anomaly to help Artyom.

I get that it is mainly because of how the writer wrote the story. but some characters', mainly Miller's decision feel out right stupid.

Nothing much happen in Volga.

during the "Ark", Anna was taken away by the cannibal doctor for obvious reasons, ok they were bit a naïve and optimistic and got ambushed, fine.

then after that. in the desert. the local don is literally asking for the women on the train. and what does Miller do? he sends his daughter alone to scout some place. smh.

I get she is also a Spartan and everything. But come on! especially after the Ark incident he should be more cautious about his own daughter!

In Chester's part he is accusing his partner of cheating/adultery.

"I saw through the words you said
To the secrets you've been keeping"

"You say that it's not your fault
And swear that I am mistaken
You said it's not what it seems
No remorse for the trust you're breaking"

also Chester is most probably drunk as well "Blackout(drunk)" and "Blood in your eye(aka blood shot eyes)"

In Mike's part, he is pleading "Chester" to come down, most probably from the ledge he is standing on. Mike tells Chester that there still is more to life.

Hello so far I have been liking Substreamer the most out of the other navidrome clients. some improvements I'd appreciate would be related to granularity of managing downloads.

1st: Partial Downloaded Playlist.

lets say I have download 50 fav songs. and 5 of them are in the Anime playlist, 10 are in Movie playlist.
so it would be better if the client also shows the Anime and Movie playlist in the library with only the downloaded 5 and 10 songs available respectively, when in offline/downloaded mode.
EDIT: partial download for albums already exists, so maybe extend it to include playlists as well

2nd: managing individual songs.

lets say I have download Album A as a whole. then I need to remove Songs 8 and 10 from the downloads.
but currently there no option to remove only certain songs from the download, there only option to remove the entire album from the download

similarly implementation for playlists should also be in place.

EDIT2: also add "songs" tabs in library. and downloads as well.

I am pretty sure it is a case for a lot of people that there are tons of songs that are not favourites nor part of any playlists but are listened to quite often
