i am so sick and tired of fanwars, like for real. fandoms are fine when people actually act normal and respect the artists, but kpop these days is literally just a corporate cash grab feeding off brainrotted parasocial behavior. agencies intentionally engineer this mess so fans turn into feral soldier bots who attack anyone who doesn't praise their group 24/7. and this sub is just as bad. the second someone posts actual constructive criticism or gives credit to another group, the chronically online stans spawn in to mass downvote and start a whole essay war in the replies like there isn't an entire real world outside of their ults. like bestie, you do not know these idols personally, calm down. taking mild criticism about a celebrity isn't a personal hate crime. what's even scarier is that most of these people running hate accounts are literal teens. k-pop cyberbullying is genuinely built different, it goes way past normal pop culture drama into full-on mob mentality and malicious doxxing. multiple idols have literally ended their lives because of this, and now regular fans are dying from fandom harassment too. it's so unbelievably cooked and something needs to change.

baby monster just came back again with moon, and as an almost three-year-old group, they’re being fed so well with frequent releases, world tours, solid promotions, and huge global pushes. meanwhile, treasure, as a six-year-old group, literally had their very first school performance only this year. it's so frustrating seeing almost zero korean promotion, no proper global or western tours, and just a continuous loop of asian tours that fatigue the members without actually growing their international presence. what makes it worse is how insanely talented they are individually. members like hyunsuk, asahi, yoshi, junkyu, and haruto are incredible producers and songwriters who are fully capable of making their own tracks, yet yg still forces them into predictable company formulas instead of trusting their self-produced vision. yg doesn't give them proper full albums, doesn't bother building on sub-units (t5 was a complete hit that got instantly sidelined), and subjects them to long hiatuses that kill their momentum—mismanagement that already cost us losing core talent like yedam and mashiho in the past. yg is completely wasting treasure's talent, chemistry, and prime years. i really wish they got the same level of care, investment, and strategic vision as babymonster, and i don't hate babymonster at all, they deserve everything they get, i just feel so bad watching treasure’s endless potential get sidelined like this.
