Congrats ! Uttarakhand medical counselling portal extended its date upto 28!!!

Don't know whether I shall be happy or cry. Can't face my parents and younger siblings after scoring bad in neet and being such an embarrassment to my doctor parents... My marks are on borderline seriously it breaks my heart to see them spending so much money on me.

Is mbbs from private worth it for 2nd generation?

Hi! So basically both my parents are doctors, and i haven't got good rank in neet and i have to opt for private college now, I scored well in cuet 850+/1000 and I was getting admin DU and CURAJ , but I had to leave it because my parents were literally forcing me to opt for mbbs even tho I don't think it's my cup of tea, that too from private, anyhow I had to get convinced now...

Kindly please tell me whether roi on private college would be worth it or not (given that both my parents are just BAMS doctors and earn as much as average middle class family. Also i don't have any future plans to run their clinic and i want to move out of my state.)

Seeing the number 13 too frequently with regards to my current relationship? Is it doomed to fail or will it impede my growth in future?

Hi! I am in an Long distance relationship since 7 months, we're never mets planning to meet next month... We had a few hardships in relationships recently (because of external factors no trust breaking/infidelity/lack of boundaries/losing of interest involved). But we somehow persevered. I was literally imagining a future with him.

But these days I dont know why but i have a bad gut feeling even when i know nothing is wrong and i have always since about 3 weeks seeing 13 number a lot... Like time gaps in messages, like missing him being online just by 13 minutes and whenever he says something sweet and I'm blushing and suddenly look at clock or phone clock it's always (some hour number):13 mostly... what does it signifies? Bad luck? And coincidence is that i thought this synchronicity today (Friday)... What does it really mean.

Although neither of us belong to western culture and we both are not christians can anyone tell what it means?

Confusion regarding career whether to do b.sc or mbbs from private college (40th percentile low neet score in all subjects) or whether to take a full/partial drop?

myquals : 12th passed PCB stream

Hi! i took a drop year for NEET in 2025, got strayed away during preparation time and flunked Re-NEET 2026 with ig 323 score(40th percentile per subject), did well just by chance in original NEET 2026 was expecting 484 marks. I have a really bad base of competitive level phy and chem. I can only cram up knowledge just like i did in school exams.

Gave CUET 2026 got 480/750 in pcb core and 671/1000 total score in pcb+english. From OBC-ncl, filled form in DU, but messed up preference list, i wanted b.sc even from an off campus college, but somehow so as to maximise my chances of admission into DU i added B.A English courses of north campus colleges somewhere too top in preference list, ended up with seat alloted in IPCW women's college for B.A english hons. even tho b.a had higher cutoff than b.sc.

After that , my parents are disappointed with me that i am getting B.A and not even b.sc couldn't get govt seat in NEET counselling too... Today my DU seat got principal approval and i was supposed to pay fees and upgrade my seat, although i'm not sure whether i'll again get b.a or b.sc.

Now i'm from middle class background , my parents , grandparents and most of my close relatives are urging me to do mbbs, but they are planning to take loans for that and my mother is even saying to pawn her jwellery to adjust money for pvt college, but at such low marks ig i wont even get management quota seat... i'm thinking for b.sc.

I have applied in CURAJ, Rajasthan and HNBGU university, Uttarakhand too for 5-6 courses. But somewhere i think for myself that b.sc. would get me nowhere, because i lack logical and reasoning knowledge, but i must get a college this year otherwise i will be ruining my 2026 like 2025 drop year, and i wanna take a partial drop and prepare side by side for neet but parents not allowing it.

What shall i do? Need practical advice and even harsh reality checks
