Claude had some much appreciated attitude this morning

I lol'd at the "next big-ass email"

for context: the emails are for personal use on futureme.org. I wanted it to outline long email drafts that mimic my voice. normally, id go through my journals and kinda skim through it to create the email.

so this time, I can copy/paste parts of my journal into the project to help write emails. (I still write at least half of it)

and because I didn't need to, I used Fable 5.

Former Teacher Going to a Coffee Shop to Find Something Different for Their Lives EDC

Long time lurker first time poster…

I have several versions of my EDC, but this is my newest one. I’ve had to minimize so much more lately. My former Work EDC had way more than this.

I‘ll have my travel, minimal, and gaming EDC at some point later.

- MBP M4
- Rolling Square Magnetic Stand(above the llama)
- Nillkin Laptop Case/Stand
- iPad Mini 7
- Torras case for iPad
- iPhone 16 Pro
- Apple AirPod Pro 2
- OhSnap Phone Grip
- Zagg phone case
- Iniu 10k Portable Charger
- Anker USB C Cords x2
- Anker GAN Prime (can handle charging my MBP, iPad Air and Switch 2)
- USB C to USB A dongle and USB A to USB C dongle
- Garmin Watch portable charger
- Tiny Magic 8 Ball
- Mechanical Fidget
- too many pens that I rarely use because I use my iPad for notes
- sticky notes, gum, glasses, thumb drives, chapstick, eye contact drops

Not in picture because I forgot and I really should go to the coffee shop.
- Garmin Venu 3
- To go medication
- 5.11 Tactical Backpack
- Carrying Case for cords
- Permanent Marker and Dry Erase Marker found at the bottom of my 5.11 backpack
- 2 more books of sticky notes that were in the carrying case that I tell myself I need for whatever reason but they’ve been in there for YEARS.

Side note: I have two locations for the magnet for the Rolling Square.

The one on the side above the llama and below the unicorn is for normal use. The black circle is actually the bottom of the screen. I use my MBP in clamshell mode at home with the back facing me.

Come Visit the Euclid Core Port of San Diego! Your Rest Stop Right Before the Core…

Just unlocked the glyphs to the galactic core? Treat yourself to a stopover you won’t forget.

Nestled a quick pulse drive from your alien portal to paradise, the planet of Californication offers multiple rest stops right before your trip to the core. You have so many choices!

However, our port offers six premium landing pads for travelers who’ve earned their rest. Recharge in our upbeat byte lounge, unwind in the bubbles, or settle into our cozy hostel for a night under alien skies and alien waters.

Light-years behind you. Adventure ahead. The core can wait one more night.

(*I’m so exhausted. All I wanted was a base right before the core…. But someone from 6 or so years ago named one of the planets as Californication. As I built my lonesome landing pad, my 1AM delirious ADHD came on. I had to build. The “hostel” is underwater with 6 “rooms”. I couldn’t figure out how to make the tapestry work so there would be a “curtain door”*

*I didn’t take too many screenshots. Hope this makes you chuckle or snort in approval.*

*I’ve got more to add on, but this is what you get for now.)*

Enemy Balance Mastery or Bonus Cells from GB?

I’m looking at increasing my cell income.

Some context:

  1. GB is fully maxed, but if I reset my bots, I can spread my medals so that I can get Bonus Cells.
  2. I have the coin to max EB mastery if I unlock it.

I can unlock Bonus Cells by the second tourney of this week or EB by the first tourney.

I’ve seen the math for EB mastery but I see mostly anecdotal information for Bonus Cells from GB+.

However, I see people saying to spend medals on Bot Bot first.

My question is mostly to ask for your experience.

What’s been your experience when you first unlocked either one? What was your boost?

Thank you to this subreddit.

TLDR: To all new players.... listen to this subreddit. Enjoy the game. Make the mistakes. Kill the wrong things. Throw the wrong vials. Jump into that crevice. Be mean to a character. Make the kid in the grove flip the coin all day.

I bought BG3 last year, got overwhelmed, and put it down. I originally picked it up to get a better feel for DnD... turns out I needed DnD first.

On top of that, I realized that despite playing on a Mac, I'm not a mouse gamer. My 8BitDo for Switch 2 worked perfectly. I do switch to mouse for inventory though.

Picked it back up last week and I'm locked in... but I fell into a perfectionist trap. I kept coming back to this subreddit and ignoring the advice, looking up nearly every decision I could find... and I was only 10 hours in. I was enjoying the hell out of it, but I overwhelmed myself.

Once I stopped obsessing over decisions and just played, everything clicked. The only times I reload a save are for conversation choices, accidental Leeroy Jenkins moments that drag me into a fight, or watching my entire team walk back and forth between an acid puddle and a burning floor trying to exit a building and losing 3 members in under 10 seconds.

So thank you for telling new players to just enjoy their playthrough. I'd post a picture of my half-high-elf bard, but I'm currently reinstalling the game. (That's a separate issue I'll look into before bringing it here.)
