All of these things can cause the mind to feel claustrophobic, draining you of your concentration and ability to feel clear headed. The mind is like a balloon that starts to stress as it starts to inflate with things occupying it. Your head is heavy sidi. The heart is weeping and the pressures of life are choking you out, you’re at your wits end.
Something will come soon to take your mind off of it all, albeit for a short second. But the nature of that second is like the cool gust of wind off the shores of a beach upon the hot face of a wrung out believer, all he needed was just that gust of wind to cool him off. To relax, to breathe, to remember his humanity and that there is a Lord above him.
This is why I believe rasool allah ﷺ described even the smile in the face of your brother as a sadaqa, because your charitable act on his face saved him from his worries just for a second. That smile costed you a few seconds but those seconds revived your brother. It gave him the fresh breath of Rahma he needed. You saved his life by that smile, and this is not something that can be easily compensated for.
Take a breather habibi and sit down. Drink some juice. Enjoy your tea a little more. Practice joy among your awraad, enjoy your blessings. Say alhamdulillah for the great blessing of cognition and awareness you’ve been gifted. Allah tries you because He wants the best out of you, He wants his best gifts to land in the hands of who most deserve it. Take a walk, make wudhu, smile with a beloved and take a load off.
Your situation may not change but your state will, and that can be enough to change your situation. To give you that determination, willpower, and determination for what you set out to do.
Reset habibi. Salam Alaikum
ﷺ

Meaning: O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am Your servant, and I abide to Your covenant and promise [to honour it] as best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I committed, I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sins except You.
Virtue: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The best supplication for seeking forgiveness is (Syed-ul-Istighfar)".

If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it and dies on the same day before the evening, they will be from the people of Paradise and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it and dies before the morning they will be from the people of Paradise
Might need new tyre tubes and the chain replaced. Any idea how much these things cost and who I can take it to for a quick fix?
On this journey of life,
We all walk between chasms and bridges,
Descent and elevation,
Swinging between the dark and the light.
This deen,
The way of life prescribed the one who gives life,
The way of truth by the one who is truth,
The way of subtlety by the most subtle,
It was made for the sinner.
It was made for the impure,
The lost,
The broken,
The one veiled from within.
My dear sibling in mankind,
No darkness is too dark for the Light of Light itself,
No sin too heavy on the scales for the one who loves to forgive,
No shame greater than the one who is Mercy,
Allah, Al Rahman, Al Raheem.
“By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if you were not to commit sin, Allah would sweep you out of existence and He would replace (you by) those people who would commit sin and seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would have pardoned them.” ﷺ
There is a poem I want to write that involves the 99 names of Allah which is part of Islamic spirituality.
I am trying to write one line per name and turn each name into a verb. For example
Al Hafiz is a name that means The Protector
To write May God Protect you, the new sentence becomes
- Allah Yahfadhk الله يحفظك
What is the method of turning a name like Hafidh into (protect you) yahfadhk
If there is a straightforward rule please enlighten me! This would also serve as a drill for me to understand this process better thank you all
