The new album sounds great! Well, what you could actually hear during the listening session— significant chunk of the audience treated it as a natter session with the album as an ambient backdrop.
The live sound of the new material though, fantastic stuff. Lovely, moody, and bassy in all the right places.
Travelled to Czechia to see them at Brutal Assault, and now Manchester for Round 2. They absolutely sucked. Fantastic setlist. One of the sweatiest shows I've experienced for a long while!

Acquired this one (amongst others of course) at Brutal Assault last week. Cracking design! Hoping they do the same for Progression Towards Evil and Trample The Weak, Hurdle The Dead.
My fourth and final time seeing them on the Absolute Elsetour, what an honour to have seen one of the greatest albums of all time in full, four times! Brilliant as always. What a tight unit.
A rare live outing, well worth the trip over from England. And then we get to do it all again when they do a UK tour! What a band...

Absolutely zero word from the Cosmic Void team, but communication has always been appalling from their side. Doubt Unleashed would post this if it's untrue. I know a lot of you here were planning on coming, so you might want to look at your accommodation/travel refund policies.
Following the string of gig pics posted from the European leg of the tour, here's my contribution. Pure amplifier worship as expected. But not quite as loud! Maybe seeing them before in a wooden auditorium was more suitable than an ex-industrial concrete floored room?
Bodyweb and Sovereign in support. That was some show! Saw them at Primavera a few weeks ago and was more involved in the pits, but tonight decided to stick to the front to get crowdsurfers over. Always a bummer going to a hardcore show with barriers but still a cracking night.
Always a treat to see them, especially sandwiched between Conan and Acid Bath. Sweatiest GL show ever?

I was on balcony so they'd sold out of everything by the time I got in. Waited until the end and went downstairs and was lucky to get a black Willoughby Tucker shirt (large) and a Perverts cap.
If you're size small or medium, you're better off going for merch straight away, because those sizes sold out straight away. Luckily for me, large fits me fine, but there were a lot of short girls having to get XL because that's all that was left.

That was absolutely ridiculous. 130 minutes— talk about getting proper value. And SYMBOLIC IN FULL!!! I used to pray for days like these. Mental setlist, incredible sound (unfortunately Cryptic Shift's mix was super muddy), and a super energetic performance from start to finish. If they're coming anywhere near you and there are tickets left, BOOK YOURS.
Some really odd ones (Hatebreed inside whilst Snail Mail plays main stage?).
To all of the gay attendees with hand fans on Friday and Saturday, thank you for your service. So many times I was close to overheating, but your gusts of wind saved me. I forgot to bring my electric fan, but no matter— Ashnikko had you excitedly flapping up a hurricane and cooling me down. I love and appreciate you all.
