Any recommendations for finding a therapist to improve poor social skills?

Hey guys I’ve been thinking about switching off my current therapist. He’s been great and I came to him to help me when I was struggling with self image issues and depression, and now that I’ve worked on myself I feel like I’m at peace with those things. However, being someone who never really participated in life I really struggling with making friends and socialization. Just to cut to the chase, what would the best way to find a therapist that specializes in that field, any buzzwords I should know?

How are you guys changing your wardrobe for the summer heat?

Hey guys, love seeing all your snazzy outfits. However, I feel like this style is not very complimentary of hot weather unfortunately. Personally I live somewhere where it is hot so infrequently that my office does not have AC and I am STRUGGLING. How are you guys adjusting with the weather?

Mobile CPA Study Material?

Hello team. I’ve recently started studying for the cpa exam again. However, with summer finally arriving I want to be out and about, especially going for long walks and hikes. Does anyone have any CPA study material that they can vouch for that has a good mobile interface?

Moving from the for profit world to a nonprofit. How would you describe the difference in work?

Hey guys I landed a job at a nonprofit and I’m super excited. I am coming from the for profit world and will be staying in a similar role. For people who have also made the jump, how would you describe the change? Is it a big change culturally? Would you say the environment is more relaxed or more toxic? I’d imagine it is less stressful or does it depend? Do you like the change?

Landed a job in insurance providing for the public sector, any advice on what this field is like?

Hi guys, I just recently got offered a new job that I’m extremely excited for. It’s for a company that provides insurance for strictly public entities. It is an upper administrative role (sorry if this violates rule 1, please remove if so). I am completely new to insurance in general and am having trouble learning about this industry. If you are familiar, can you please share some insights on what I can expect from this field? Thank you!

Received a better job offer a week before my first day at my new job

Hi guys, I have a dilemma. I would say I’m a mid level accountant. I accepted a job offer recently, good offer with great benefits for the largest employer in my state. It is in the energy sector. After I received the offer, I received an interview option at a very much smaller company (about 2 dozen employees). Honestly I thought i performed subpar during that interview lol. Nonetheless, 2 days later to my surprise I received an offer.

The offer really surpasses the first. 15% better pay, remote when I want it, my own office at our local office, better PTO, education reimbursement, and solid advancement opportunities. Company operates by providing insurance to local governments.

I honestly feel horrible about the decision I need to make. The second offer seems so much better but I feel terrible derailing the first place. The only downside I see to not taking the first offer is that I would be burning a bridge to such a large employer. Is it worth potentially getting blacklisted? How do I go about making this decision?

Thank you for any advice

Those of you that use hair fibers, do you use them when getting a haircut?

And if so, do you let your barber know ahead of time?
