What happens if my partner and I get married

Hi all, my partner is pregnant with our child and is currently on Medicaid. I plan to join the military shortly after our son is born and we wanted to get married before I go to bootcamp. If we get married, would her Medicaid coverage be void or should she be fine since she got on it while not married. We just don’t want any hiccups with hospital bills during the birth. Edited to add we are in Florida

Likelihood of C School choice?

I’ve been talking to a recruiter and getting things ready for MEPS and eventually boot camp. My goal is to go in for Corpsman if I score high enough on the ASVAB to qualify. If I’m able to do that and go through A school, my main goal is to be able to get into the radiology C school so I can become an X-Ray tech. My sister was in the Navy and I have a close friend in as well, so I’ve been asking them a ton of questions. My main question here though is the likelihood of being able to choose radiology as my C school. I know there’s a lot of variable, such as the needs of the Navy, or a C school being overmanned, and how well I do in A school. I’ve heard that if you perform top of the class you pretty much get first pick. I’m wondering if you get presented with a list of all the C schools, or is the list of C schools dependent on what’s available at the time of A school graduation? Or are you still able to pick what you want and have to just go into holding? Thank you all in advance!

Any affordable martial arts gyms?

Hey all. Pretty much what the title is asking. I don’t necessarily know what budget I’m on, and I’m open to most forms of martial arts. Not to drag anything out but I’m going through a very heart breaking time right now and I just would like an outlet to be able to focus on and learn to regulate myself. I know my perimeters are vague I just wanted to see what options there are in the area and how you all feel about them. Thank you

Intel i5 1335u 10 core good enough for obs?

I tried to search this sub but I can’t find anything specific to this. I want to stream off a laptop I’m thinking of purchasing. I want 1080p60. I’ll be using a capture card capturing ps5 gameplay. The laptop has the mention intel processor, 10 cores (2 performance and 8 efficiency) with intel iris x integrated graphics. If obs/streamlabs is the only program running, would I be able to achieve the results I want? Also has 16gb ram and 256gb ssd

Parenting from a different state?

Hi all, first time posting here. I don’t know where to begin as this is all fresh. My partner (29F) moved to my state to be with me (32M).

Things have been great for the better part of a year. In recent time here and I have both made some mistakes we are not proud of, and it looks like these mistakes are leading her to moving back to her home state. She is now 18 weeks pregnant with my child.

Splitting up isn’t easy, and we both still love each other but she seems set on moving back. With her being so far away, her and I both are still wanting me to be there as much as possible to have as much time with our child. I’m wanting to work it out because she’s my best friend and I’m not ready to let her go, but she’s undecided.

I don’t know what’s going to happen so I’ll just fast forward to my question. In case it leads to where she goes home and we make arrangements for me to be with our child as much as possible, do you all have any tips? Anyone who’s been in a situation where their child was in a different state and you still persevered.

For context I have a pre teen daughter in my state and the thought of moving states to be with one child more than her when I don’t get a lot of time with her to begin with crushes me and I don’t think I can do that.

I got the MK11 Eternal Klash skin pack today, in 2026

Tried the method where you buy a brand new copy of MK11 Ultimate and it worked! Never preordered after math and just redeemed it in ps5

Never knew you can play Manhunt on PS5, you can’t search for it

I randomly saw it browsing the store on the app. Oddly enough when you search it on the PS5 store it won’t show up, nor if you search it in the app. It just happened to be listed in The price range I was browsing. Is there a reason for this?

I failed the assessment

I thought I did good, all my answers were customer focused and showing I’m willing to adapt to change and keep learning, and that I prefer a fast paced environment. I assumed these were correct but I guess not. Do you all know what Progressive is looking for?

Edit to add it was for a claims trainee role

Does Progressive hire in classes for the Claims Adjuster Trainee?

I’ve been looking everyday for months for a trainee position near me and one finally opened up 2 days ago and I applied. I’m currently working on my state adjusters license myself and I’m almost done with my course. And I have automotive engineering experience that I feel can translate to the negotiating side of claims put in Auto. I am mostly wondering if they hire in groups for the trainee position of if they hire one at a time as it becomes available? Thank you!

Edit: I made a typo, not automotive engineering, just automotive experience. As both a technician and advisor. I was thinking more so that experience would help save on labor costs knowing what repairs can over lap
