Per source, the NBA will not discipline Wizards guard Bub Carrington (or the team) for his comments about tanking.
During Washington's media day, Carrington casually dropped what might be the most honest quote in NBA history:

"We just haven't been told yet to go be the best version of yourself. We've been held back. We were trying to get AJ Dybantsa. That's no secret. Now, no one has handcuffs."

The Detroit Pistons have offered Jalen Duren a 5-year, $200M deal, which he has not accepted.

The NBA has punished the Los Angeles Clippers for salary cap circumvention investigations on Kawhi Leonard, stripping the franchise of 5 first-round picks, issuing a $30 million fine to owner Steve Ballmer and suspensions for Ballmer, Lawrence Frank and Gillian Zucker.

Kawhi Leonard will have to pay $700,000 in restitution for improper benefits by the Clippers for his uncle.

Leonard will not be suspended.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have waived Cam Whitmore.

It could be Kevin Durant on a burner

Portland Trail Blazers guard Shaedon Sharpe suffered a torn meniscus in his knee and is expected to miss six months.

As part of the Peyton Watson deal, the Cleveland Cavaliers are sending Tre Mann, the 2027 second-rounder from the Los Angeles Clippers and cash to the Washington Wizards for Cam Whitmore.

Are the suns doomed?
