Jain University Bangalore – M.Com reviews for September 2026 intake

Hi everyone! I’m considering joining JAIN University, Bangalore for the September 2026 intake and I’m confused between:
M.Com – Dual Specialisation
M.Com – Indian Banking & Finance integrated with IIBF
Could current students/alumni please share their honest reviews on:
Total fees and any additional charges
Placements specifically for M.Com students
Faculty and academics
Hostel/accommodation facilities and food
Campus life and safety
Overall ROI and whether the degree is worth it
I’d especially appreciate reviews from current students or recent graduates. Thanks!

Heriot-Watt vs Middlesex Dubai for a Master’s in Finance — Which is Better?

I’ve graduated with a Bachelor’s in Financial Markets and have 6 months of work experience. I’m planning to do my Master’s in Dubai and have shortlisted Heriot-Watt and Middlesex University Dubai.
Which one would you recommend for finance? Mainly looking at faculty, teaching quality, class timings, internships and job opportunities after graduation. Also, is either university more preferred by employers in Dubai’s finance industry?
Would really appreciate any advice from current/former students!

University of Southampton Delhi MS Finance

Hi everyone,
I’m considering applying to the University of Southampton Delhi for the MS Finance program and would love to hear from current students or anyone who has firsthand experience.
I have a few questions:
How is the faculty? Are the professors experienced and supportive?
The tuition fees are quite high. Do you think the degree is worth the investment?
How are the placements? Does the university provide strong career support, and do most students secure good jobs after graduation?
What’s the accommodation situation like? Are there good and affordable places to stay near the campus?
Is it safe around there?
I’d really appreciate any honest feedback, whether positive or negative. Thanks in advance!

Ireland visa refused

Hi everyone,
I applied for an Ireland student visa from India on 9 June 2026, and unfortunately, my visa was refused. I’ve now received my refusal letter (attached in the photo).
I’m trying to understand the reasons for the refusal and decide whether I should reapply. If I submit a fresh application within the next week after addressing the refusal reasons, what are the realistic chances of getting a decision before the first week of September 2026? My course starts then, so I’m really worried about the timeline.
If anyone has gone through a similar situation or has experience with reapplying for an Ireland student visa from India, I’d really appreciate your advice. Please let me know if the refusal reasons in the letter seem fixable and whether reapplying worked for you.
Thank you!

study visa rejected

Hi everyone,
I applied for an Ireland student visa from India on **9th June 2026**, and unfortunately, my visa was refused today. I still haven’t received the refusal letter, so I don’t know the exact reason yet.
If the refusal is due to something I can fix and I reapply within a week, what are the realistic chances of getting a decision before the **first week of September 2026**? My course starts then, and I’m really worried about whether I’d receive my visa in time.
Has anyone from India been in a similar situation and successfully received their Ireland student visa after reapplying? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience.
Thank you!

Hi everyone,

I’ve had a loss of smell for about 4 years. Over time, I started getting random cough, frequent sneezing (especially mornings and nights), and sensitivity to cold foods/drinks.

A few days ago, I developed a weird throat feeling and a metallic taste/smell. Today, my doctor diagnosed me with sinusitis and said if it doesn’t improve, I may need a CT scan or surgery.

Right now, the pain is really bad—pressure around my nose bridge, temples, and cheeks. It gets worse when I lie down, and I can barely sleep.

Medications:

Cyra 20 mg (Rabeprazole)

Richclo SP

Swich CV 200/125 mg (Cefpodoxime + Clavulanic acid)

Microcet M

Limcee 500 mg (Vitamin C)

Also doing steam inhalation.

Any tips to relieve the pain or manage this better?
