How many points/tickets are allowed before Uber deactivates you?

I’m an Uber driver in the Vancouver area and just got my first tickets. I was pulled over and ticketed for being on my phone and for an improper child seat.

I’ve never had any other tickets or driving violations before this, but these two combined add up to 7 points.

Does anyone know how many points or tickets Uber allows in British Columbia before they deactivate your account? Should I be worried about losing my account over this first offense? Appreciate any insights from local drivers!

Martyrdom in Sikhi: Earliest Historical Accounts and Sources

I’m interested in the historical documentation of martyrdom in Sikh history.

When do the first written accounts of the Sikh Gurus’ martyrdoms appear? Which sources are considered contemporary or near-contemporary to the events, and how long after the events were they written?

I’m also interested in non-Sikh sources. Did Mughal, Persian, European, or other writers record these events? If so, which accounts are regarded as the most reliable by historians?

For example, what are the earliest sources for the martyrdoms of Guru Arjan Dev Ji and Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, and how do historians evaluate their authenticity and accuracy?

Any recommendations for primary sources, academic works, or further reading would be appreciated.

Roof Feels Soft or Flexes When Walking on It, Is That Normal?

I was cleaning my roof today and noticed that a few areas seemed to flex or give slightly under my weight when I stepped on them. It worried me, so I stopped rather than risk damaging anything.
Is some movement normal, or could this indicate a problem with the roof decking or structure? For reference, I weigh about 300 lbs.
Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

I’ve circled where most of the movements happens.

How many “unsafe driving” reports before deactivation/ban?

I’m hearing different answers. Some say 3 and some say 5 within a year…?

Unsafe driving? Ban?

How did I receive this report? Do the customers call it in or message Uber? I told them I only touch my phone when you guys prompt us to like for traffic or police and not entertainment. How many do you need to get to get banned?

How to make a room

Has anyone turned a space like this into a usable room? What would you do with it and where would you start? It’s under my master bedroom

Sikhs are now being looked at differently because of that clown VIKRAM

Elon musk even tweeted that he’s gonna pay all the fees for Henry’s family. F that vikram guy. That clown just made the whole Sikh community a joke and people are now questioning if we should be allowed to carry a kirpan.

Resetting A1707

I have a 15” MacBook Pro A1707 (2016/2017 Touch Bar model). The original display was broken, so I removed the entire display assembly and have been using it with an external monitor.

I’m trying to factory reset it, but I can’t get it to reset. Recovery mode isn’t getting me anywhere, and I need to erase the drive and reinstall macOS.

For anyone who’s worked on these A1707 models with the display removed, what ended up being the solution? Any tricks, adapters, key combinations, or steps that finally worked for you?

Reactive lymph node?

My wife had jaw cancer in 2018 and has had a reactive “shotty” lymph node in her neck ever since. It’s usually about 2 cm and tends to get noticeably larger whenever she gets sick. She’s sick right now with a stuffy nose/cold symptoms, and the node is more swollen than usual. She recently had a contrast-enhanced CT scan.

Given that history, would a radiologist usually be able to tell from the scan whether the enlarged lymph node still appears reactive/inflammatory versus something more concerning, even if it’s temporarily bigger because she’s currently sick?
