Was there a comprehensive list of 2026 races?
I’ll be around Sept-Nov, so looking for something to run (5km to half marathon) with a nice medal at the end. Out of town for the TCS unfortunately 😔
My manager recently told me I'm due a pay progression in a few months - but I don't think this adds up.
I was appointed on the mid-point of band 7 (good negotiating) in Nov 2024. I assumed I would move up to the top Nov 2027?
Have they credited me an extra year?
ESR shows:

Pay grade XR07

Pay Affecting:Yes
Does this mean I'm due to go to the top of the band in a few months?
So I’m currently toying between the Samsung T7 and the Sandisk Extreme Portable SSD (V3). Both 4TB, can get both at the same price. Sandisk would come with a 5-year data recovery plan. Confused which one to go for.
The Sandisk is also half the weight of the T7.
I’m not hugely fussed about the USB4 capabilities - just a general user for documents, content creation (video), Adobe Creative files, RAW photos
Have Sandisk truly overcome their prior SSD failings?
So I’ve had my Macbook Pro M5 less than 2 months. Today I was using it and suddenly the screen went black. Followed all the reboot steps and nothing.
But plugged into an external monitor and everything works - it’s just my display on the laptop is black.
When I start up the laptop I can see something very faint in the background, then that goes and just a slightly lit black screen.
Devastated because I took every upgrade I could and now scared they won’t cover under warranty or find a way to blame me..
I film on my phone and want to be able to use my laptop to mirror what I’m recording/filming (so I can see I’m in frame), as well as being able to see a word document / notes app for my script?
Is there any way I can do this? I have a M5 Macbook Pro
Has anybody ever used Auto Europe to book a car in Toronto or PEI? It's currently giving me a price that's 75% lower than Turo. Seems a little too good to be true. Thanks in advance!
