Planning a trip

I was talking to my dad about teardrop trailers and my mom chimed in saying she wished I would take a month long trip across the country.

I talked to her again about it this morning and she said she was serious, I just have to plan a trip first and figure out what to do with my 2 cats.

So my question for the community is... Starting in the low country of South Carolina (Charleston) where would you go? Obviously I want to see the grand canyon, Yellowstone, and Yosemite. I'd also like to pass through Las Vegas.

But other than that I am not really sure. I know there are probably websites with this all planned out but I wanted to get y'all's opinion too.

Thanks for your advice.

Pics of my Chi

I just wanted to share some pics of my babies Daisy (long haired Chi) and Charlie (cocker spaniel) I am out of town and missing them. Thankfully I have a good pet sitter and know they are doing well. I'm headed home today and can't wait to pick them up.

She is such a water bug. Does anyone else's chi love to get in the water? When I went to the dog park with her the first time she got so worried about my dog swimming that she barked and whined twice and then jumped in after him. I cannot keep her out of the water now.

As much as Daisy is annoying I don't know what I am gonna do when it is her time to go.

Edit: thank you for the award. She will not forget about it anytime soon and I will be hearing about this for months.

Handyman special

I found this camper on my local Facebook Marketplace. They are calling it a handyman special. They said that the kitchen area needs work but the sleeping cabin is pretty solid.

I am not really hands on with things but I'm very interested in it. I have wanted one since the pandemic and I think I could afford this one factoring in the repair costs.

Can anyone tell me if this is worth it or how much work it needs. They are asking for 2k but I think I can get it cheaper.

I want to take this cross country stopping at local state parks along the way. I really wanna go to Yosemite and see the dawn wall.

What is it

My sister has this hobnail vase and I was telling her it was radioactive and she was adamant that it wouldn't react but it did. Can anyone tell me what this might be?

Sorry it is pretty bright out.

Agate Lamp

If only I could afford it. Normally I would say yolo and get it anyways but I can't swing it.

Surge issue

I built a Bluetooth speaker box and I am having an issue with power surges.

I have tried changing the batteries, LVC and eliminating the LVC but the problem persists.

All of the cables look clean without any wires exposed on the clips.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks.

If you know, you know

So I found a sex chair at Goodwill today. The little old lady putting it out didn't believe me. I didn't have the heart to show her proof.

Edit: thank you for the award. I did not expect this to get such a response 🥰.

Time to report?

Is it time to bump up to a bigger pot? . They are in 3 gallon plastic planters and the trees are about 4 now.

I got all of these trees as 1 gallon grafts in the spring of 2022.

Amending soil

I am working on a new flower bed and got it mostly prepped. There are still a ton of rocks and I need to add compost add nutrients to the soil.

Can anyone tell me a good mix for Japanese Maples in the ground. I have sifted the soil and dug a lot out to be able to add to the soil.

I have some black cow manure and some general purpose fertilizer. But I don't know if I should add something like pine bark to the soil.

Here are the trees I'm going to try putting in. I just hope there is enough room. It is about 11 ft long and 27 inches on the short side and about 6 ft on the big side.

Will I have enough room for these two?

Thanks in advance.
