I’m into Pokemon cards so I don’t get it. It’s certainly no Sunbreon, but he said this sub might like it.

My sweet boy Max went for a nap sometime today and did not wake up. He was his perfectly normal self, not sick or anything. He once jumped out a window screen trying to protect me from a cat he saw outside (just popped the screen out and the window was only about a foot up from the ground!). He chased it to the edge of our property and then came trotting back to me so proud, with his tail so high in the air. He loved following me into the bathroom, and having some milk every night. I’m missing him right now more than I expected.

Max was my 2nd black cat, they are the best cats IMO. We do still have one more black cat at home, Nemo, but Max was really imprinted on me. Writing this from the bathroom where normally he’d be laying at my feet while I get ready. It’s those regular boring things you end up missing the most.

I pulled this from a bulk box at a local store, I took it because I’d never seen an Unown in the wild and my husband (he knows Japanese) told me it was J, which is the first letter of my name. I’m having a bit of trouble finding info specifically on this Japanese version which from what I’m gathering is pretty rare. Hoping for a bit more info from people more experienced than me both at valuing and hunting down info! Thank you!

My husband and a coworker got me into this a month or so ago. I like picking up cards I think are cute or look neat. Currently working on a theme binder.

Our LCS is pretty high volume and puts a lot of cards in their bulk boxes that are worth more than they charge, so my husband and I like going through them to find cards we want to buy, knowing we will typically come out ahead a bit even if we overpay for some.

I thought the foil pattern on this one was really cool looking. I knew the stamp meant it was from a prize pack. Greninja is not on my wishlist but because it looked so awesome I bought it. I didn’t scan it in the store to check if I owned it because I knew we didn’t own any Greninjas.

We were shocked when we scanned it in to our collection tonight to see that we basically stole this card from them lol Pictures do not do it justice.
