LAS Boarding

Is it just me, or does boarding out of LAS continue to get worse and worse?

Today there were at least 15 wheelchairs, along with another 20+ pre-boarders. I’m lowly A-List and was at the front of the Group 1 line, yet there had to be almost 50 people already on the plane by the time I boarded.

I haven’t flown Southwest much since all the changes, so I assumed the boarding process would’ve improved somewhat. Apparently not.

For those of you with the quarter-season plan, how are you feeling about the games you ended up getting this season?

Christmas Game Ridiculousness

How the hell are the Warriors worthy of a Christmas Day game and the Rockets aren’t?

The Warriors bootlicking is getting ridiculous. It’s 2026, man — not 2017.

First trip to London: The Londoner vs. The Langham? Which would you choose?

I’ll be visiting London for the first time next spring with my partner, and I’ve narrowed my hotel choice down to The Londoner and The Langham.

For a first-time visitor who plans to spend most of the trip sightseeing, walking, exploring neighborhoods, and eating great food, which would you choose and why?

I’ve read great things about both. The Londoner seems to have the more central location, while The Langham has the history and reputation. I’d love to hear from people who have stayed at either (or both) and whether you’d make the same choice again.

Both properties are priced about the same for my dates so that detail is a wash.

Thanks!

How often are A-Listers able to get a free ELR upgrade at the 48-hour mark?

Question for fellow A-Listers: How often are you able to upgrade to an ELR seat for free at the 48-hour mark?

I understand route, time of day, etc. all play a factor, but generally speaking, is there usually a decent amount of ELR availability at that point? Or is it generally just the middle seats that are left over by then?

Thoughts on row 53 on the A350-1000?

I’m looking at the emergency exit row that only has two seats instead of the standard three, which is appealing for the extra space. The only downside is that the lavatory is directly in front of the row.

For anyone who’s sat there before, was the extra room worth dealing with the bathroom traffic, noise, and occasional lines?

This is getting ridiculous. Almost every order has something wrong—missing items, drivers ignoring instructions, or the order just disappearing entirely(stolen). And it’s clearly not isolated; you see the same complaints all over Reddit and online every day.

At what point does this force a real change? Whether it’s stricter hiring, better accountability, or an overhaul of the whole system, something has to give. I can’t imagine how much money Uber is bleeding from refunds and criminals on the platform. How long can this realistically keep going like this?
