I love my Zurich Worldtimer, but in real life it is much darker. Navy Blue + Black has historically been a major fashion faux pas, so I am wondering why they went in this direction? Has anyone done a different strap with this watch? I feel like it's the only thing keeping it from being a 10/10.

Can we stop giving attention to the botched Secret lair?

This is exactly what MSCHF wants (and Wizards too). There's been 10-100x the amount of coverage on this as normal, and it's almost so pervasive that I wouldn't doubt if the "outrage" was being pumped.

Anyone have a good Vitilago doctor recommendation in the Northeast USA? I had one of the top doctors in the world until recently.

I was a patient of Dr Harris in (Umass) Worcester, MA and he was one of the pre-eminent Vitilago experts in the field and we were starting to make some mild progress.

He left Mass General and I can't seem to make an appointment anymore and need a new doctor that is on the cutting edge or treatment. Any recommendations in the Philly, NYC, Boston, DC markets?

Is this the worst year ever for Boardwalk customer service?

I know ocean city has to bring in a ton of workers every year, but this years crop of Eastern Europeans has to be the worst one ever.

I was literally getting scowls, mistakes, complete indifference, shouting. I don’t expect much, but when buying $8 ice cream, or $15 hamburger a smile shouldn’t be impossible. It felt like 1990s Soviet Union.

With the recent surge in popularity of older cars, why hasn't there been a new (high end) single-din head unit released since 2015?

As an old car enthusiast, who loves driving 1990s cars, I am depressed to find that there still isn't a worthy successor to the old Pioneer DEX-P99RS. Is there really that little demand for a cool head unit that doesn't need a 10" screen? I just want something with some light graphics, carplay, looks cool, and has more than just analog graphics.

There have pretty much been only three released in the last 15yrs (Sony RSX and Pioneer 99rs and 80prs).

Surely I can't be the only person who wants to put a cool old school system in an old school car???

THC gummies in Ibiza?

Is there any legal place to buy high quality THC gummies in Ibiza?

I’m familiar with some of the cannabis club, but the gummies we bought there last time were almost completely ineffective and not nearly as potent as advertised.

Any other recommendations other than buying on the street?

Some takes from a normal casual Nolan fan. (And yes, this film needs subtitles).

Saw it on imax, not 70mm.

Pros:
The films sound is off the charts good. You are totally brought into some scenes with almost the same effectiveness as Saving Private Ryan.

Matt Damon is solid. Still saw him as more Matt Damon than Odysseus, but he did a nice job.

I thought Tom Holland was fine. Telemachus isn’t supposed to be some burly fighter hero. In fact, he was the only character whose dialogue I could fully hear (see more later).

Didn’t notice the mom or dad slang language. The language modeling of the movie was fine to me.

Helen of Troy wouldn’t have been a thing at all if it wasn’t for the internet.

Elliot Page was one of the more memorable characters and once again, wasn’t a thing.

The scenery, sets, vistas are stunning and amazing. I didn’t see or notice any cgi. Costumes were great, not sure why anyone had opinions on those.

I hadn’t read Odyssey in a long time so I enjoyed Nolan’s interpretation of Odysseus’s guilt and motivations for the long journey home.

Anne Hathaway is fine, but not iconic.

Last third of the movie really pops.

Cons:

The dialogue mixing is horrible. This is not some Tenant rant of mine (I’ve never even seen it), but I genuinely could not make out 40% of the dialogue in the first hour of the movie.

I genuinely might not see this movie again unless I have closed captions.

Film is uneven. I know the book material is tough because it’s half adventure story and half introspective journey, but Nolan struggles with this interplay and it drags at parts (and I personally have no issues with long movies).

Zendaya is Zendaya in another purposeless role. She does her puppy dog eyes thing and once again I firmly believe she has the most talented agent in the history of Hollywood.

Most of the 2nd tier characters are good but forgettable. This is where the movie Troy was so much better. I remember everyone from Agamemnon to Ajax in Troy, but in Odyssey, most of the ancillary characters are totally forgetable. Calypso and especially Circe are well done, and Emmaus, but that’s about it.

My biggest con is that this movie IS a masterpiece, it’s exceptionally well done, but I’m not sure I’ll need to rewatch it many times. It feels like Oppenheimer to me: big, amazing, and a colossal achievement; but not gonna get a lot of replay from me.

I am excited to see it again, with a less critical eye, but I worry I’ll probably see it again and that’s about it.

Why was day 2 so much shorter than the other two shows? It was the most expensive ticket by far.

Why is there not successor to the Craft Keyboard? Nobody is servicing the $200-$300 professional (non-gamer, non enthusiast) market.

As my 2nd Logitech Craft begins to circle the drain, I am somewhat upset that there is nothing on the market to replace it with? There are no options for someone who wants an attractive, well made, professional keyboard. It's either RGB Gamer rigs or Keychrons (which to me look like the free keyboard Dell gives away).

What i would love:

Premium aluminum build

Wireless

Great backlighting

Full-size

Slightly deeper keys than the Craft

Quiet

No RGB gamer aesthetic

No enthusiast hobby required

No software headaches

Beautiful enough to sit in a professional office

And I would gladly pay $200 to $300 for this. Everyone is constantly looking for ways to optimize every aspect of their life. I think this is a category ripe for re-exploring.

Only one Coke Zero/Diet Coke dispenser on the entire Disney Dream ship??

Just got on the Disney Dream in Europe and of the eight soda machines, only one nozzle was a low calorie option (and not working). Is this normal in Europe?

Grand Hyatt Athens a disaster class in front desk management. NO AC, all managers hiding in the back. Constant Lies.

I've had multiple stays at the Grand Hyatt Athens, and often it can be a great stay. Nice pool, great breakfast, amazing views. If you can snag for ~$200-300 it's a good value (except for location).

Most recent stay, the AC went out in 5 of the 6 rooms we were occupying. This caused the rooms to surge to over 80 degrees.

3pm-6pm- asked hotel for help. Every time we complained they acted surprised as if it was the first time they were hearing of an AC issue, even though there were dozens of other people in the lobby complaining too. Still would not admit they were having an AC issue.

6pm-8pm- Repeatedly told the issue had been addresses, even though zero maintenance people had come to our room, even though front desk claiming they had.

9pm-11pm- Constantly told "someone will be there in 10minutes to fix it." 30min would go by. Call again, told the same thing.

11pm- Finally got a manager to admit they were having an AC issue throughout the hotel. Told again someone would be up immediately to fix. This went on for another hour. I finally went to sleep.

I can handle broken hotels. I can handle issues. I can't stand lying. None of the guest services or managers would address the issue. They would say "I'll be right back" and then go hide in the back till you walked away.

I would have gladly left the hotel for somewhere else if they had just been honest in the beginning that they were having issues for the last 48 hours and weren't going to be able to fix it.

Instead, I was kept hostage, 20min at a time, in my room, being told "someone was right on the way."

This hotel was having other major service issues (having 4 of the 6 front desk people being trainees won't help), so if you are high maintenance or expect service, this might not be a great choice for summer of 2026. Hotel had service issues at all levels during the last two weeks.

However, if you want a taste of 1980/90s Greek inefficiency and bureacracy, this is a great choice of hotel!
