A lot has been said about the new vanguard veterans, and while the sculpts over all are very dynamic and interesting I definitely wanted to add my own spin to these.

I wanted them to feel like they’ve been handed chapter relics from the deepest corners of the armoury.

Can’t wait to slap some paint on these.

Working on the Armageddon intercessors and getting some kitbashes done

Since coming back to the hobby the Leviathan terminator captain was the first mini I painted. Three years on a tackled it again, kitbashed it and I think finally did it justice!

Roll on 11th and Armageddon!!

Base swap as I have my raiders themed around a boarding action. Surprisingly strait forward to remove his tactical rock. By good fortune his hamadrya fit perfectly onto the pipes.

Super pleased. It’s the first named character I’ve ever painted.

I’ve said before I think this mini set is one of the best GW have ever made. The sculpts are insanely characterful and they lend themselves so well to conversion.

Putting together my first ten raiders. Blown away by the dynamism of the sculpts.
My force is going to be more on the renegade/outcast side as opposed to fully fledged chaos space marines.
I’ve mixed in some parts from loyalist chapters to show some marines who have left the Imperium.
