I always use my Discover at Shell because it's linked to my Shell Rewards and with these gas prices any discount is welcome. Last week I was in Vegas and the station I got to kept declining my card so I ended up using a different card and lost out on my discount. I figured they just had some local issue.

Today since it's Ram's game day I was going to fill up at home and get my 60 cent discount. Same thing happened at the station as in Vegas but 300 miles apart. I called Discover / Capitol One and was told there is a known issue with Discover at Shell's nationwide but they don't know when it will be resolved. How is it possible that they could screw up something so badly that they couldn't just reverse whatever changes they made? I'm assuming this has something to do with the switch to Capitol One and the other things they have messed up.

Has there been any explanation for the lack of a live stream this year? My guess is that Disney wants to make more ad money than they have the last two years with the edited version in December but maybe there is another.

It's time to replace the tires on my wife's Q6. Should it stick with the run flat Alenza's or skip the run flats and go with a better tire? I'm not that worried about the lack of a spare.

Sorry this is more a rant than anything. I go through this every year and this time was the worst. I was logged in early, in the waiting room, got in at 10:01am PT and almost all of the orchestra level tickets were gone. I quickly found two I was comfortable with put them in the cart and it said they were gone. Over the next 60 seconds I tried pretty much every seat I was good with and the exact same thing happened. Then I refreshed to see what was left and it started giving me errors, closed everything went back in and now pretty much the entire theater was sold out.

Every single year AXS has this problem and I just end up buying the tickets on the secondary market. It shouldn't be this hard to buy tickets especially on a pre-sale.

The title kind of says it all, we're going to be in Bishop and want to head to Las Vegas. We've done the route through Lone Pine and Death Valley to Vegas so we thought we would try something different. US 6 -> US 95 is longer and going north at first but I believe is flatter than going down to Big Pine and then take CA 168/NV 266 to US 95 which is a much more remote route. Any opinions?

I just logged in to my rewards account and noticed something I haven't seen before. They now have an option to put in your license plate # so in theory the parking gate will automatically open without having to insert your card. It says they aren't quite ready yet so I guess on our next trip in September we will see if it works.

For years now it's worked on and off that once you go in using your card and you leave the gate will remember your license # and open automatically. I wonder if this new option will actually make it work consistently?

Took our MY25 in for a body trim issue and the dealer did the newest update. We received KD2 back in November and things have been pretty good since. So far the only change I’ve noticed is the tone when putting it in gear. The only issue I’ve had with each update is that I have to reprogram the garage door opener.

Hey everyone we need some help with something that is driving us crazy.

We just got a new 2026 Kia Sportage X-Line and are trying to completely disable—or at least reduce the volume of—the beep sound it makes when locking and unlocking the doors.

We feel like we’ve read everything out there and have already tried the following troubleshooting steps with no luck:

1. The Key Fob Method: We held down the Lock and Unlock buttons simultaneously. We tried it multiple times, holding for 3 to 5 seconds. The hazard lights do flash 4 times to acknowledge the command, but the beep remains exactly the same.

2. The Infotainment Settings: We went into Car Setup > Vehicle > Door looking for the volume adjustment setting mentioned in several older online guides, but our 2026 menu simply doesn’t have an option for door lock sound or volume anywhere in that submenu.

Has anyone with a 2025/2026 model successfully muted or quieted this?

For a few years now that’s the comment my wife always makes and I just kind of chuckle but seeing him this year in the field I think she’s right. That ball tonight should never have been missed it was an easy catch. He’s had a few of them this year and he looks like he’s not seeing pitches at the plate. Could it be that simple?

I have Verizon on two Pixel 9's. To see how I would like Mint I created a new account with a new number and added it as a second esim on one phone. I've been very pleased with the coverage so now I want to move the Verizon number on the duel sim setup and the other phone over to Mint and of course drop the new number I created. Any tips on how to go about this efficiently?

We are taking the grandkids to the area at the end of May. We have where to stay and the kid friendly pool stuff covered. We go to the area often just not always with the kids so we’re looking for some ideas of places to go when they become water logged. We’ve done the Living Desert and of course we know we could always hit Dave & Busters or Boomers. They are 8, 10 and 12 and the tramway is out, too many afraid of heights. Thanks!
