Doing an engine replacement from a virago 250 03', using an 11' Vstar 250. As far as i can see they're otherwise identical engines, save for these pipes connected to the exhaust ports. What are they, and do they connect on the 03 version? If not, can they be removed/plugged?
Still a new rider, made a few minor fixes so far, not sure what might be causing this, if someone could point me in the right direction
Just curious if anyone has built their own armor from plastic plates or other materials, to fit onto an existing MG frame?
My MG EZ-8 got damaged, so I'll probably pick up a new one, and i was considering making it into an MG-sized EX-78

Im not sure if its just my machine, my fabric choice, or my settings in inkstitch but im having a really hard time trying to get very small details on patches to come through without getting blurred or messy by the bobbin thread pulling to the top?
Prefacing this by saying im a motorcyclist myself; i just drove up from moncton this weekend. Im used to seeing lotta folks cruising around, the harley boys showing off how loud they are etc. But the riders in Fredericton are insane. Freddy's already got a reputation for bad drivers and your street layouts are...not newcomer friendly. All weekend i watched folks, mostly on sports bikes pulling shit like lane splitting, going nearly double the speed limits, constantly racing cars and jumping ahead of them, and one guy doing wheelies in active traffic. Plus most of them actively trying to rev their engines hard as possible like dude, you're at a stop light not a race track, chill! Was just insane to see the difference in behaviours between the two cities lol
Finished my fullsuit and wore it out for the first time despite the weather being about 36°c. Stay hydrated!
So, i was gifted a really solid jacket by my neighbor, his old track racing jacket. Its solid, fully padded...only issue is he was a heavy smoker. So far I've washed it by hand, by machine, done the vodka/soap spray mixture, dried it outside...the smell is not as bad as it once was, but is still noticeable, and the couple times i wore it i found it still lingered on my shirt underneath.

Working on a skull dog type suit; my idea is an undead werewolf knight; basically the stalfos and wolfos from Zelda combined lol.
Im just not sure how to go about doing the paws or feet. Should i go for regular paws? Skeletal claws? Or cover them with gauntlets (the suit is supposed to fit around my HEMA gear)
What are your thoughts? Id love to see examples of what anyones done before!

New rider, first bike (2003 yamaha virago 250) and having a...frustrating issue. Every time i stall, the bike just...dies. it won't turn over or start again. When i check the battery before riding its usually full or above 12v. After this happens (and walking it home) its down below 12 but shouldn't be enough to stop it from working (usually at 11.5-11.7)
I tried the suggestions for a flooded engine but that doesn't seem to do anything. Once i charge the battery and get it back in, she's fine again. Anyone know what the most likely culprit could be?
