Does Google generate money when searching with adblock?

I've spent HOURS to find any single ethical search engine that doesn't either have AI or is affiliated to google/microsoft/etc and genuinely there doesn't seem to be one. They're all plagued by horrible bs: startpage, ecosia, duckduckgo, yandex, presearch (what were they thinking with the doppelganger feature?!) and the list goes on...

So at this point does it even matter which search engine I use? What if I just keep resorting to Google without an account and block all ads and AI with extensions? Would that stop counting as boycotting?

Do AMD GPUs work better on Linux?

I've had a couple of Radeon GPUs in the past with Windows and they sucked a lot, they always crashed midgame and at some points I even remember the drivers disappeared out of nowhere and I had to reinstaller, which made me go full nvidia since a couple years ago. Now that ive switched to linux im starting to wonder if those same issues are also common here because now I would like to stop supporting nvidia for a lot of bs theyve done in recent years

I've been messing with KeePass but found it a bit obnoxious

My main issue with Google Password Manager is knowing they have my information stored in their servers; I would assume UC stores your passwords locally (after all it's ungoogled), but is that actually how it works? Is it really safe?

I must admit that, frankly, I don't concern that much about hackers stealing my data, I just don't want big private companies having it and doing whatever they want with it

I just ran into a seemingly common issue with Gigabyte motherboards in which the PC wakes up immediately after putting it to sleep, and found the solution would be to "disable gpp0 as a wake up source" which I've done already, but it does leave me thinking: what exactly is gpp0?

I couldn't quite find an answer online so I figured to ask here since I really appreciate knowing exactly what I'm doing whenever I fiddle with my system, possibly just out of curiosity and a desire to acquire more knowledge:)
