2022 Nissan pathfinder Platinum

Seems like a decent value. But Nissan and their CEO choices over the years (Carlos Ghosen) and Mitsubishi merger rumors have me a bit worried

Paddle shifters?

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 23 s60 black edition. The only drawback is it doesn't have paddle shifters. What years and models, besides the r design have paddle shifters? Thanks

2017 to 2020 a4 and a5 reliability

For reference, I currently drive a 2017 Passat R line and it has 150k on the 1.8 tsi motor. No water pump issues, 1 carbon clean, new plugs and coils last year. I want to purchase an a4 or a5 sportback. I looked at BMW products and Lexus and they are just not my cup of tea, and too expensive for what it's worth. There are quite a few 2020 a4s and 5s with less than 35k on them. Prices are reasonable. Should I roll the dice?

I love the GS350, but is it a decent deal

I love the body lines, it has the ML system, it's a F sport. But is it worth the price or is it reasonable? I live in Connecticut, where everything is higher.

2023 RDX reliability, and why are there A Lot for sale.

I'm thinking about buying a 2023 RDXA spec with advanced packages for just under 37k. The is a CPO vehicle. Why are there so many for sale right now? Not reliable, lease over? Maybe an x3 is a better bet. I'm paying cash for it, BTW.

So...I'm 6'2" and 230. Am I too tall for an RC 350 or IS 350?

So I posited a question on the sub reddit last week regarding what a good purchase with a with an upcoming financial windfall might be. BMWs are nice cars, especially the M340 i xDrive. But anything reasonably priced has 70k plus miles on them. The X3 with the 476 hp in line six is pretty, but it was probably beaten. People on the bmw site always talk about premature oil housing failure. Long story short, I want to stay away from a car that goes by name(bmw), and not reliability. I want an NA motor, not forced induction. Lexus is my best bet. Will I, as a 6 foot 2 inch individual, 235 pounds, fit in an is or rc 350, comfortably? Thanks for any feedback.

Turning 62 in 3 months don't want German, looking for more reliable and to be my last hurrah

So I'll be 62 in August. I have a 17 passat with

150 k. Won a large windfall sum from an accident and want a car that will be my last hurrah. Love Audis, but too problematic. BMWs that I can afford seems like the maintenance cost will not be worth the purchase, and German cars seem to temperamental. So Lexus seems like a good choice, especially the F line. I like to think independently, but feedback is much appreciated.

Waterpump class action...

I've owned Volkswagens for 10 plus years now. I was thinking about purchasing an Audi or VW, as my second, really reliable 17 R line Passat with the 1.8 tsi motor is getting up there, with 150k on the clock. Some mild mods, nothing crazy. Just wanted newer. I read an article from motor trend and people don't consider Audi a reliable luxury brand anymore and some not even true luxury. However, with Audi's 3.0t issues and cla regarding the known issue with the bad water pump and rocker arm and piston skirt sthat management just brushed off, and the 2.0 motors having water pump issues, I'm going to have to find something that I can count on. I'm 61, I don't like driving stock vehicles and want to modify something that won't fail. I like to put my foot into it probably more than I should, and my 17 has been a fantastic car. Maybe I should keep it the old girl and relive my youth and buy a pavement pounding big block G body. At least parts are cheap, I'm mechanically inclined, and just wrench away when shit breaks. Sorry for the rant.
