Switch 2 to Steam Deck

Hi all

I’ve bought a steam deck, I’m looking for games that ran very poor on switch that I can try on steam deck

Grime is one, any others you can recommend?

Also if anyone has made the change over to Steam Deck, how did you find it? Any things you would recommend I try to maximize usage.

Have some mods for hollow knight, but only interested in things that add game play like expansion packs and extra boxes. I have pale court, any other?

Thanks, all help appreciated

Ender Lillies - slow start?

Bought Ender Lillies a while back, played it for about an hour didn’t think much of it?

What am I missing? As it gets so much love on here.

My MV experience so far, loved SS and HK.

Played about 18 hrs of Nine Sols now and can’t put it down.

I loved MIO and Ori at first but both became a bit slow for me at the end, mainly MIO.

Will revisit EL eventually just want to know others thoughts, feels like I am missing something, didn’t click?

Grime 2 : switch

Hi all,

I haven’t played grime 1 yet. I play on switch and put off by the fact grime 2 isn’t on switch. So I’m in trouble if I start and love grime 1.

Anyone know if there are intentions to release it on switch?

5 hours - where from here

Really enjoying it so far.

Think I’ve been exploring a while now and unsure where to go next.

Any help appreciated. (No need to worry about spoilers for me, I’m here for gameplay ahead of story)

Edit: I only recently figured out how to “hack” the statutes by jumping on them. This meant when I went back to central hall there was on there blocking a doorway that opened after I hacked it.

Now in Lake Yaohci Ruins - game continues 🙌

Recommend non pixel art games

Loved SS and hollow knight, they have drawn me right into the genre, almost too much. I’ve got a tattoo of Hornet and the knight 😂

Anyway, I just can’t get into the heavy pixel style games like animal well. These are the games I’ve played and enjoyed in order of most

Ori and the Will of the Wisps
MIO
Nine Sols

Decent gap then to
Ori and the blind forest
Ender Lillie’s

Can anyone recommend any other games that might suit, I also have BO and Prince Of Persia, which I am yet to get stuck in to.

Thanks!

Ori WOTW - navigation help for the end

Hi guys

I made it to willows end but left fairly quickly as I wanted to go back and get more collectibles

Now I want to return, I can’t find the way to navigate there. I thought it was windswept waste but the only warp takes me from there to windorn runs which is at 100% completion and I am unable to enter the right side of that now, appears blocked off (which is where ori is in the photo - the part with a great chase upward previously done)

Can anyone point me in the right direction please

Do you rotate between games?

I started playing metroidvania games and played hollow knight, then silksong until I completed both. I thought both were exceptional, couldn’t put them down (especially SS)

Now I’m playing mainly MIO but can’t stick to it same as other two, so find myself rotating between this and other mv games to get hooked to.

When you play, do you stick to one or do you rotate?

If you do rotate do you rotate between genres to keep yourself fresh, or happily going from MIO to ori etc
