I'm really sorry about the quality. On his phone the video is much clearer and I might try to do re-upload with his phone instead because when he sent me this video It got really compressed and it's hard to see the footage so I tried to brighten it as much as I can. But basically in the footage he's looking at the sky recording the moon and he sees a group of lights forming a triangular shape up in the sky. I was watching the video from his phone and from that perspective the lights are moving sporadically and seemingly having nothing to do with LAX nearby. But by the time he tries to record it again, the lights are gone. Kinda interesting. Maybe satellites ?
