Homie ran out of gas and received a helping push
Always great to see iRacists help each other 🥹
And then one of the helpers got gifted with a weight reduction

They remembered to resafe joinly, so kudos to them!
That felt way more dramatic when I was driving ngl lol
Not pushing it too much though at the moment
But I am really thankful to my neurologists who motivated me to actually keep lifting and get lifting as soon as I left the hospital, albeit it was just with an empty barbell. Because I was really not confident that I could return to lifting so quickly
Funnily enough my torn pec is feeling stronger than my left side, which was affected by the stroke 😆
But main thing it was completely pain free
I was taken out, saw red, and although I checked the relative, I missed you and ruined your race. I am very ashamed and terribly sorry. If you were in the sixth split on 15.00 CET NEC. Please accept my apologies, and if I can find I would like to gift you a gift card.
I tried writing you a dm on the Iracings forums, but I can't find you there
Another angle of the biggest pile-up I have seen
I was nervous taking my GPU apart, but tbh this thing is kinda built like a tank. I was shocked by how dried out the paste was in one spot, that some parts were not covered at all, and by a bad pump-out. I am kinda annoyed that a 1k+ high-end card, I have an ASUS Pro Art 4080s, has such shitty thermal paste.
Sadly, I did rip the pads, and the pads had some weird damages on them, soI had to replace them as well. Luckily I ordered some Upsiren putty.
It was kinda tricky since putty refused to stick on VRMs, but I just stuck it in the same place where the pads were stuck on the cooler, and it worked.
I refregerated the phase sheet, so it was relatively easy to work with, but I destroyed my first cutout because it tore when I was removing the plastic cover. But the second time worked ok ish, even tho one corner came a bit loose, but it stuck then nicely again.
Gains are huge, went from around 100 to 105 with 30+ Delta, so 70-75 GPU temp to 73-75ish hotspot with 64-66 GPU temp. Mem temps went from 80-84 to 68-72. Temps are from the 3D mark Speed Way. And I undervolted my card a year ago or so.
So great result, and it slowly gets even cooler as I test it more. Also, a big shout-out to my wife, who decided to help me and cleaned all the paste and pads from the cooler and rolled the putty logs, while I was cleaning the chips and VRAM and applying the said logs and phase sheet :D
Edit Forgot to mention I used Thermal Grizzly phase sheet
I got the left one a year ago. After heavy usage, we are talking easily 12 hours most days, I absolutely fell in love with the MU02.
Saw the other one on sale and immediately pulled the trigger. Now, the biggest issue is to decide which one to use.
So I want to export a model from Blender that consists of three meshes, each of which has some shape keys, and the whole model has one skeleton.
I can export it fine, and all the animations and the skeleton are correct, if I remove the shape keys before the export. If, however, I try to export with the shape keys, the skeleton that is being exported is not correct, bones are missing, wrong naming, and ofc animations do not work.
So far, I have tried to eliminate every possible mesh modification that is done upon export, I manually triangulated everything, I removed every possible modifier, and so on. I also tried exporting each of the mesh part seperatly. But this all did not work.
I am sure I am doing smth wrong or missing smth
Hey everyone. So after 8 years of not riding, i would love to come back to it the next year (sadly won't be able to do it this year due to family issues)
I would love to go on longer tours through Europe and especially the Alp region. And take my wife with me. I want a reliable, comfy, but also a sporty bike, with good passenger comfort. I am not planning to go fast, but I do want to ride through twisty mountain roads. And I have only around 4k budget
From what I read, the FJR 1300 would tick all the boxes, and I can find affordable bikes in great condition.
But I do have great respect from its weight and power. I been riding around 4 years between 2015 and 2019. I rode Suzuki gs500e, kawasaki er6 n and Honda cbr600f. The FJR is quite a step up. Would this be an issue? And would recommend this bike for me? Also what should I look out for when buying a used fjr? I plan to go for 2005 one
