First time honing a razor

So I just finished honing my first straight razor but I don't think it is sharp enough I've not gotten the chance to try it on my face just yet but it just doesn't shave that well when trying it on my leg

For sharpening I started at 1000 then 3000 until the 1000 scratches were mostly gone then I went to a Belgian coticule where I started with a slurry that I slowly diluted until finally finishing under running water

Did i make any mistakes that would cause it to not shave as well as it could?

Does anyone know if it's natural and if so what it might be/how to use it properly?

Home remedies for mildly ingrown toenail

Hello people I need some advice on my toenail it has pretty much constantly been red and slightly swollen. in normal shoes this isn't much of a problem however when bouldering I need to wear pretty tight climbing shoes which can kinda press my toes together causing pain around this area of my toe/toenail. since it doesn't bleed and has no pus I would hope there is a simple home remedy for this, if anyone knows of ways to deal with this I would love to know

Toes geting crushed

Hello fellow climbers I've just purchased my first pair of climbing shoes they're new to me but appear in good shape

Sadly however my toes are quite cramped i know climbing shoes are supposed to be quite small compared to regular shoes but I'm not sure how tight is too tight they are the same size as my regular shoes anyone got tips for me otherwise I will ask some people at my local climbing gym

Last picture is a comparison of my regular shoes and my climbing shoes

Can a liebig evaporator be used during honey flow?

Hello fellow beekeeper's I have a question I'm currently in the spring flow and have 3 supers on my hive which are almost ready to extract. would it be possible to do an formic acid treatment with a liebig evaporator right after extraction or will this contaminate the second honey harvest? If it does contaminate the honey would there then be another way to treat the bees that won't cause contamination?

I have not jet tested should I do that before or after the treatment?
