Given how each company mentioned is already assholes when it comes to copyright and lawsuits against people using characters already from the public domain and finding ways to get them despite people not breaking the law doing it I’m now worried that them being under the same company will give them more power and leverage to put down anyone using like say Superman once he enters public domain in the next decade despite again people being allowed to base their take on him legally.

What do you guys think?

Like Batman before him the joker will enter public domain ten years from now which is exciting and I’m already thinking of ways to adapt him to my own Batman stories. I’m wondering however if I wanted to I can make him into a pennywise type of monster that has a disguise of a harmless clown but when he shows his true colors he’s more of a demonic monster but would I be in trouble from DC comics who currently have the Absolute universe version of Joker have a similar theme despite my idea being nothing at all like absolute joker? If anyone has an answer I’d appreciate it a ton!

After four years the wait is worth it! Wonderful adaptation of this character in such a wholesome way and the animation is a neat throwback to 90s to early 2000s chi animation as well Also be sure to stay after the credits for a teaser of what’s to come.

Given how Hulk has already amazing horror comic runs in the main 616 universe since Immortal Hulk, I’ve been wondering how Hulk in the midnight universe would be different enough to stand in his own as a scary take on Hulk that feels fresh and faithful at the same time. Perhaps the toast is that Bruce Banner in the midnight universe has completely control over the hulk form and uses it as an excuse to let out his more violent side out in a more controlled manner but then later on goes horribly wrong and would make Bruce’s situation in the 616 universe look tame in comparison.

It’s no surprise that scarlet witch isn’t exactly well liked by almost everyone in the world. If anything she’s universally despised to the point where even her fans are considered crazy and delusional for finding anything good about her. So it also wouldn’t be shocking if Wanda fans end up being bullied for real as a result because of it.

Was anyone here gotten bullied for that and if so how did you deal with it? So far I’m lucky not to have been harassed for liking her though I was sadly harassed for liking something else 13 years ago by someone I’ve cut ties with since then for giving me grief over it

I know this may be a silly question but since I’m planning on doing my take on Frankenstein in the future using elements from both the novel and 1931 movie which will enter the public domain next year I’ve been thinking of naming my version of Frankensteins creature/monster Fredrick Frankenstein however the name is used for the doctor in young Frankenstein. Would I get in trouble with using that named despite the fact that it’s the creature/monster that’s named Fredrick and not the doctor like in young Frankenstein or am in good to go on that one?

Seeing people theorize and even paint Lilith in a bad light because how whatever reasons she’s had with being in heaven and not being in contact with Charlie and Lucifer just makes me think that we’re kinda being a bit hasty on judging Lilith for her actions when we don’t even know yet what she’s doing in heaven in the first place and what she hasn’t made contact. It ironically feels a lot like how people were having bad thoughts on Lucifer before the actual show appeared and we now know he’s anything but a tyrannical monster.

I mean we have evidence that showed in the portraits and how Charlie and Lucifer talk about her in a warming light that Lilith does love her family a lot and isn’t at all Stella 2.0 that some people are thinking she is. Maybe in the end I’d be sadly wrong and if so then ok I’m wrong I’ll move on but still I think we should wait bail we get proof before denouncing her as a horrible person.

Both Hazbin hotel and helluva boss are a very famous case of many people having misconceptions and flat out missing the point about the shows and their characters. What are the ones that drive you insane the most about how wrong most of those misconceptions are?

The idea that Charlie and stolas never suffered for their mistakes in their respective shows and are the writers favorite with being cuddled. Like seriously that is the most ignorant thing to say because they certainly did suffered for their mistakes with Charlie almost losing everything for them with stolas actually losing everything. If vivzie was truly playing favorites neither characters would’ve suffered the way they did.

The idea that Vaggie and Millie have nothing going for their characters other than being a love interest. Again that’s BS because both shows show more layers to their characters like Vaggi struggling with her self worth and Millie’s own issues like her recently being pregnant. It’d be one thing if people thought the execution can be better but it’s another to think they have no character.

That Charlie’s idea to redeem people was doomed to fail. Yeah Pentious himself proved that very wrong so anyone who still thinks that is clearly not paying g attention.

That Stella is a tragic heroine that’s suffering from stolas affair with Blitzo and from bad writing. Stella has shown no good qualities before the episode The Circus delved into what kind of person she really is so I’m not seeing how she supposedly have a tragic depth to her before that episode when we never saw any of it to begin with. It’s a case of people missing the point of a character.

That Charlie’s character in the show is dumber and badly written than her pilot version. Like people she has flaws in the pilot episode that people hate her for having in the show too it’s just at the time she didn’t have things like pentious death and Vox going after her to affect her mentally. It’s like people saying Batman in the year one book was better then he was later in life because he did t have events like death in the family nor the killing joke happen yet. Charlie is still smart in the show as she was in the pilot.

That Blitzo wasn’t wrong for how he self with his issues before he grew from them. Like people he was. His trauma made him do pretty bad stuff even if it’s understandable and him being around IMP helped him overcame them and became better for it.

That loona is an ungrateful nasty bitch. I don’t need to go into much on why that’s such a wrong take because if loona really was that type of person she wouldn’t have gotten close to people again the way she did.

The idea of Adam and lute being right to kill sinners. Like the lack of awareness couldn’t be more understated because of how not only is it messed up to promote genocide but it also completely ignores the difference between horrible people like the Vs that belong in hell and broken sinners like angel dust and pentious that didn’t.
