I'm sure everyone has noticed how collecting sprites has changed gameplay but today I got killed in squads and my teammate had an inventory entirely full of sprites. Not a single weapon to take on the other player. It was at that point that I realized I was no longer playing a pure BR lol.

Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying it, but the sprite brain rot is real and it got me too. I care more about collecting shinies than killing people. Someone in my squad had a zero point sprite and I was hoping they'd die so I could pick it up. 😭

I have to applaud Epic for creating what is essentially an addicting mini-game. Unfortunately, it's making play a lot stupider, though I'm not really complaining because it is fun. My favorite is when everyone pauses to extract sprites then goes back to killing each other.

I just finished the deathly hallows trial and I'm confused about what the deal was with her pain that Isadora took and the necklace which Niamh wears/touches. It looked like the magic came from her necklace. Are we supposed to know what pain she carries is and what the necklace represents? I couldn't find it when I googled.

About halfway through yesterday I noticed that Dall-E 3 was no longer listed for image generation. There are only three styles - vivid storytelling (MAI-Image-2.5-Flash), stylized (MAI-Image-2e), and versatile expression (GPT-4o). I know they're retiring DALL-E so I figured it was done for.

But if I regenerate an old image created by DALL-E 3 I can both recreate the image and type a new prompt and it still says it's using DALL-E and the style certainly looks like it.

So... the model is still there, I guess? I assume this won't last forever. Does anyone know if there's anywhere else I can use the model? It's integrated into ChatGPT but my normal prompt does not generate the same results. Microsoft Co-Pilot is the same. I'm fairly bummed out about this.

I don't understand the reason for removing this track. "Better refleting my artistic vision" is incredibly vague. But that's whatever, an artist can pull a track if they want though I've never heard of this before. Still, I like the song. I know some people don't but as someone who really struggles with self-compassion, self-hatred, and bad shit I've done, while I don't listen to it much, this song is something of a reminder, you know? It makes me cry. That's probably dumb but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I hit an error page every time I try to create an image. I tried Chrome and Edge. I tried two prompts, one incredibly basic to see if anything generated. Tried all 3 models.

When I switched to mobile, I got the message "you can't submit any mor eprompts. Pleasse wait until your other ongoing creations are complete before trying to creat again" which makes no sense because there are no ongoing creations.

I just finished the quest and was surprised to hear about the people who were sold the shop going to St. Mungo's. What with the skulls, I was sure they were being left to die or killed by Fastidio. Did anyone else think that?

With this interpretation, I actually felt kinda sad for the mannequins. I thought some of the positions were perhaps what people were like before they died. Reaching out for help, sitting down defeated, etc. I even thought the mannequins hanging in sheets were actual bodies.

Also there were a couple of spots with portraits where I was sure it was going to be a reference to Fastidio's backstory. I thought it was going to have to do with brothers because of one portrait lol.

I knew what to expect and I quite enjoyed it. I just wish there had been a little more to it storywise. Maybe I should have Googled his name and realized that if he was offing people, he's more than a "nuisance." Of course, so is making people go crazy.

Also, am I to understand that after hours he's just smashing things? Because I thought he wanted people to play with.

If you want something fun, use the pajama style. Vendors react to it at shops and other NPCs may mention it. Nearly Headless Nick just floated by me and said, "shameful display. Get some clothes on."

Just wanted to share this as it's kinda funny. Are there any other clothes items that do this?

Yes, I'm serious lol. Being in pain led me to RLT which I'd never heard of before. A few people said it helped. Any suggestions on what to get? Is there's any reason not to get a fairly cheap mat like this one? I can't afford to drop a lot on it. Some panels are quite expensive it seems.

If you don't recall, Charity is the Muggle Studies professor killed by Voldemort in front of Snape and the Death Eaters in book 7.

I originally wrote this post in a less than serious manner but with genuine love for Charity. People didn't react well so allow me to start over.

I think her death is in the top 10 saddest deaths in the series. She bravely spoke out in defense of Muggles and Muggle borns and died for it. At least Dobby died saving Harry. At least Tonks, Lupin, and Fred died in battle. Their deaths were quick and heroic in a flashy way. Charity's death was heroic too, but she had to be tortured and beg for Snape to save her only to die believing he didn't care.

She's an example of the courage of ordinary people who do extraordinary things. She's easy to forget but worth remembering.

I feel really sad when I think about how she died. I hope we see more of her in the TV show so it hits even harder.

I'm also curious - do you think Snape and Charity were actually friends? Charity said so when pleading with him. My take is Snape wasn't friends with anyone, whereas Charity was likely a sweet person who felt in some sense that all the professors were like friends to her. Charity was terrified and latching onto them being "friends" which meant remembering cordial moments between them. It would be interesting, though, if for some reason Snape was a little inclined to her company. I can imagine her putting in extra effort to be kind to someone so dour.

My therapist referred me to an outside DBT therapist but I didn't want to do it because the no show fee is over $100 (I would really try not to no show, but what if I screw up?). So I tried to stay with her and it turns out, it's that or nothing.

Kaiser therapists make you quit after a certain amount of time if you aren't making "progress." I know therapy is about getting tools and helping yourself. I really do. But this happened to coincidence with bad depression. So I'm crying on the phone and ask what I should do since I've had bad thoughts, and she tells me to call the emergency therapy line if I need it. Which is... fine? But not the same.

I said it felt like Kaiser was kinda hanging me out to dry (this had happened before) and she says "sorry you feel that way." I didn't expect her to agree but that felt shitty.

I feel like when she decided I need DBT and can't help me anymore, it's just about insurance because I don't see why DBT is the only thing that can help me. I've done it before and she mentioned something about me having borderline. I don't have borderline.

I'm depressed about this, I'm sensitive about what feels like an uncaring delivery and my parents are all kinds of fucked up, my car is having expensive issues... this was just the worst timing.

I'm confused. I'm playing build mode and dropped into several matches where we started out with Tracer's guns and the staff. Now I'm back to normal. What's going on? Is this random?
