Looking to bring some Deathwatch into my Terminator heavy DA list. Is Indomitor worth the points over the second DW terminator?
Is there some other DW unit I should be considering?
I have been looking at DW for a while, and even have a few units painted up from my spare kits and parts. With the new Deathwatch Support Detachment, I can bring in some DW and start my journey into DW!
I am planning a terminator heavy Dark Angels list. I can bring in 500 points of Deathwatch allies.
If you could bring in 500 points of Deathwatch, what would you bring?
I am thinking:
2 x 5model Deathwatch Terminators with 3x plasma.
That leaves me 120 points.
Decimus? DW Veterans? Watch Master or Artiemis?

When we booked in 2023 for a 2024 sailing the deals were insane as the industry exited Covid and Virgin tried to get their feet. It looks like the landscape has changed... so wondering what the advantages of using a First Mate are these days?
I see that tips are "no longer included", and that we now have to choose an experience level... I hope the rest of the cruise isn't turning into a nickels and dimes!
We are considering a 2027 repositioning cruise from Barcelona to Miami or PR.

I posted this WIP last month, but with the 11E info out there is a huge amount of interest. The proxy bits fit on the Storm Speeder kit (or on the resin 1:1 proxy). The dimensions fit the LSV bounding box.

10th edition review. Rough couple of years for the 1st Chapter. Here is hoping 11th is better for us.
Wrath is back but is our only 3pt Detachment.
At 2 points I think this was fine, but 3 feels expensive.
Fits the footprint of the LSV, and will look great with the new Speeders.
Just in time 11E. The age of Speeders and Plasma are on us. What is scarier than a Speeder with Plasma!
I am not the first person to do this conversion, but I wanted to make this fit the same hitbox as the current LSV.
Tower shooting is getting hit with the new rules, but fast mobile shooting to run up the flanks as our melee core pushes forward will become important in 11th I think.
I was new at the end of 9th so I don’t remember everything that used to cost extra.
This is a joke, don’t take it too seriously and have fun with it. We have no idea what happens to our beloved Wrath.
Yesterday, GW mentioned that Codex detachments will be playable, but the expansion/addon detachments except for recent ones in Eye of Terror and Lair of the Tyrant likely won't be. For Dark Angels this means that Unforgiven Task Force, Inner Circle Task Force, and Company of Hunters will be playable for sure.
Wrath of the Rock was released almost a year ago and has not been mentioned as being available in 11th. Today's Faction Focus has shown our 3 new detachments with no mention of Wrath of the Rock, nor do any of the new detachments have similar functionality as WotR.
Wrath of the Rock has been our most played detachment since its release, so I think it's worth discussion now. If we lose WotR what is your plan? Leaning into the new Plasma Detachment? Going Ravenwing with bikes and speeders? Moving to Space Wolves which appears to be the new durable melee army?
