Tailgate Strategy with 12 brown dudes

My buddies and are are making the pilgrimage to Death Valley this weekend to experience the tailgate scene and game. We all graduated from Michigan (will wear our Michigan gear to stand out) but this is a bucket list item! I've read almost every post in this sub about tips and strategies. The only kicker is there are 12 of us (and we're brown--hopefully that won't matter, but given recent comments at Texas...). Planning to get to Baton Rouge around 1pm and then wander around. Will have booze and cash to trade to get some classic tailgating experiences. I know it's supposed to rain, but we'll power through.

Any other strategies for a larger group of guys to maximize our fun would be greatly appreciated!

Balanced vs Unbalanced Calories

I completed a successful 4 month cut (losing about 1-1.2 lbs a week) and switched to maintenance in MF. I chose to make my daily calorie target unbalanced with higher days on Friday and Saturday to accommodate weekend eating out and socializing. Overall has been working well but I get the inevitable spike in weight Monday morning (I assume from increased sodium and glycogen on higher calorie days as well as muscle recovery after my week of workouts that typically ends with a heavier workout on Saturday) and im then spending the week waiting for that water retention come off. It usually drops back to my maintenance weight by Thursday or Friday and then the process repeats.

It’s a bit annoying and for the first time this week since the end of my cut a month ago, my expenditure curve has taken a turn down. Does this turn down mean I’ve nearly reached my overall maintenance calorie level or is the weight fluctuation data catching up and impacting the calculation? My expenditure number is around 2250. Im 5’11” and 165 lbs with about 13-14% body fat so I was hoping my maintenance calories would continue to climb.

Should I switch to a balanced calorie distribution to help prevent the spikes?

Curious if people prefer balanced vs unbalanced and why.

Advice on Itinerary

Hi, planning first yellowstone trip with a group of friends. half the group will be early risers and want to do longer, challenging hikes (though in well populated areas because we're all noobs and are scared of bears, snakes, and other wildlife) and the other half will be a bit more leisurely. any feedback on this itinerary? will also be doing 1 day in big sky at the end but will figure that part out later (any advice would be welcome on that too).

EDIT: we'll have 2 cars to be allow for people to pick option 1 vs. 2 every day.

Ninja Autobarista Pro vs. Delonghi Eletta Explore vs. Other?

I've had a Philips 3200 for the last 6 years and it's been a workhorse. I understand it doesn't make great quality drinks, but it has done a solid job for my daily needs. The machine is starting to leak and I'm ready to upgrade to another superautomatic. Have watched and read many reviews on the new Ninja Autobarista Pro, Delonghi Eletta Explore, and a few others. Hard to know which reviews to believe vs. which are promotional.

Budget: Would like to stay under $2,000 but can increase that if the option is right.

I saw the Eletta Explore is on sale for $1500. The Ninja looks very interesting and at a better price point.

Does the Ninja match up to the quality/caliber of the Eletta Explore and other machines in the $1500-2000-ish range, or is the Ninja mainly a great option when compared to other $1000 machines? I know cost doesn't always mean better quality, but presumably the different tiers of pricing do have some correlation with quality.

I'm looking for convenience (easy operation for morning coffee making when I'm half asleep), easy clean up/maintenance--but ideally want to get as high quality of drink as I can with a superautomatic with those parameters.

2024 m60 with 25,654 miles CPO

I’m on the west coast and eyeing a CPO 2024 m60 with 25,654 miles, great battery health (98%), new tires, and getting the 1.99% rate with no money down. Price is $60k.

Should I go for it?
