The new floors are EU made, from Germany.

We are moving into a new house and were looking for flooring. Found two we liked and one was made in Germany. Easy pick then! It’s a laminated click floor and I was smart to only took a picture of the underside …. Will add of the other side and add later in the comments or here if I can. Sorry for that.

Thought it was just nice to even have building stuff made in Europe.

Edit- in the comments there is a picture of the floor.

Taking a morning walk

Was early up and took the extra time to take a nice walk though one of my favourite places. It’s nice all year around, but now it’s just so lovely with the birds everywhere and people enjoying it all. (Though it was early, just me and an old man enjoying our walks. Had a small talk and it was such nice little social interaction.)

I hope every one of you have a place you can enjoy nature.

Manners, please.

Guys,

I am saying this with all the love I have for you all, but there is something that is happening more and more and I am not having that kind of negativity in this sub. We can agree to disagree. No need to voice your opinion just to put someone down because they don’t share your opinion. And if you really can’t hold the urge to say something, then go ahead, but make it constructive.

As you might understand, this is about the space I gave those who use AI fully or somewhat. That’s the decision I made, you don’t have to like it, but I can ask you to respect it.
I tried to make it easy on everyone, more flairs so you can avoid what you don’t like. And what I see is that still people looking up those who choose to work with AI and saying not so nice things. If you are against the use of AI, then stay away from the posts who have the AI flairs! If you can’t be constructive in your criticism, then it’s also not needed to voice it.

This sub is for everyone who loves oracle, affirmation , action and more decks. Decision is made that all arts are welcome and measures have been made to help people avoid what they do not like.
I will be removing all comments on AI flairs posts that are against AI from now on. And should someone just continue doing so even after several removals, they will be banned.

Again I am asking you guys to stay civil. We don’t have to agree on everything and just because it’s online, we don’t need to be negative towards those with a different view. If you need more flairs, more details, lets me know. I am happy to add or change things.

To all of you,
Have a very nice day 💖

I usually been tending to my subreddit via my (i)phone and that was enough. It was very self regulating and only once in a while I needed to step in and remove posts or comments. That was it.

Now something happend and I had to tighten the rules more and be more clear about another issue. So I started to work via desktop and I am now a bit, or actually quite a lot, confused with the Mod Queue system. As said the first two, "Needs Review" and "Reported" are fine and empty. Those are which I always been fixing via my phone. Now I see "Removed", "Edited" and "Unedited" and they are .. filled up.

It seems to me every post and comment has been somewhat flagged or just is in an queue... I feel its impossible to go through one by one and approve or not. Usually when someone reports an post or comment, I go and check it at spot and read up on the discussion, but this I cant do here.

Anyone knows or has an idea how to deal with that? And why it happend? I dont have it set that I have to approve posts or comments, so I dont understand how all of them are in these differnt queues now.

And yes, I might be an "older" (irl age and mod time) mod, but as said, the sub has been wonderfully self regulating itself until now.

Greetings you all,

there has been some waves here in the last week that I will adress here.

Its about AI and its usage, or actually the lacking disclosure of it by those who use it.

Well, first of all, there will be no ban on AI.

But there will be restrictions and there will have to be FULL DISCLOSURE of any AI useage! Not complying can and will result in an ban.

Now, the reason I am allowing AI here is simple, we can't get away from it. Sure we can close out eyes and just look away, but be honest, its here to stay. No matter what we do and it only will gets worse. AI will get better and in a few years we might not be able to see the difference.

Also, I have checked with other subreddits and places and checked how they dealt with it. Most places a ban was only backfirering and had an negative impact on the community in general. Since only the last years I learned about digital artists and only end of last year I had an pleasent interaction with two of our members here that are disabled, but are eceptionally creators. They taught me about ethical sourced AI programs and how one of them, who has been an oil painter with fantastic paintings!, no longer can hold an brush, but uses AI to continue to create. There are also artists who create art, digitilise it and do touchups and such with AI.

Are these people not creators?

In my eyes they are and it made me think a lot about how to deal with AI. Before that, I was considering to ban AI from here, but as already said, I will not. Let me explain more ...

When I took over this sub and cleaned up the bots and all that, the interaction I had with you guys back then was awesome. I always considered this OUR sub, not just mine. We ARE an community and we are inclusive and welcoming. That is what I will not steer away from.

No matter if you are 100% handmade, digital, half or full AI or whatmore there is, if you are an creator, you are an creator. Thats it. This sub welcomes everyone, no matter what tool they use.

But, ofc there is an but and its an BIG BUT ....

This is an sub where many uses the decks for divination, soul quests and spiritual journeys. Something that comes from the heart and soul and has purity with it. It has honesty and light with it. That needs to be respected. Absolutly and with no halv meassures.

So, as you noticed, I made new flairs. This time I took what I learned and added digital and hybrid and such to it as well. Well, just remembered I forgot hybrid, but will fix it soon ...

This sub and its members diserve FULL DISCLOSURE if AI ws used in the creation of an deck. No matter how little, it needs to be said from the very first post. Not in the comments or only when pointed out. From the beginning. AI creators and users need to be transparent about it and it would actually be appriciated, not only by me, if they could actually also add their workprocess to their post.

What is allowed is,

- AI assited (AI generated, AI assisted)

- Hybrid (AI base + hand edited or other way around and handwritten guidebooks)

- Ethically sourced tool (Adobe Firefly, NightCafé's ethical models..)

What is NOT allowed,

- Missleading the community about the usage of AI

- Use of unethical sourced AI tools

- Harressment or gatekeeping or attacks becore someone uses/don't uses AI tools

There will be more, ofc, but this is for now the gist of it. Divination is about intention and honesty and if you used an AI tool, in whatever way in your creative process, I ask you to share it. Not by being asked or called out, but from the very beginning of your posting.

I understand and I am fully aware of that this will not make everyone happy and some might leave us, but I am ok with that. There is no way for me to make everyone happy and to me, with the information I have, this is the best thing to do for the best of this sub. Since I took over the sub I had it more or less on self regulation and it went well. This AI stuff I noticed happend becore too many weren't upfront about it and yes, deciving others is not a good starting point. It only damages those who are honest about it. With this, I hope that I can count on you guys, as before, to help me spot those money grabbing false "creators", so we can get rid of them together. And leaving the door open and welcoming those who are transparent and honest about it.

Let me finish with another thing, I have gotten lots of ModMails about this, from several sides and one thing that stood out to me was... Quite a lot of people seems to have forgotten that this is an international sub. Its not specific for an certain country, just because we happen to speak english here, does that not mean its an local sub. Don't get me wrong, I understand the political frustrations and what is happening all over, but I can't take local issues in consideration. I hope you understand that.

As always, I am open for discussions and nothing is set in stone. Changes will come gradually.

Yours truely,

//kelowana

As I said to several DMs from different people, I am assuming that we are adults and with that, I will ask everyone to act like one. As adults we know that the world does not always conform as we want it to and we all learned to live to watch our emotions. There are things that we might not agree upon, but that does not make one side right or wrong. It just means that we all have different opinions, views and that comes with all our differences of the life we lived.

I understand that this is a subject that lays (lies?) close to our hearts. No one is denying that. That does not give anyone the right to call names or being rude to someone on the other side. If emotions run high, rather to respond with them, take a deep breath, step away from the keyboard and do something else. Come back when calm and centred again. Don’t let this get to you.

As I said in the first post, this subject has been on my mind for a bit over a year. From next week I will work something out, I know how I want it, but it’s the administrative side that isn’t all figured out yet. So please by a bit patient with me and things will come in waves. As always I am open to suggestions , but in certain things I will be stand fast. There will be more information later on, until then, please behave. You are all good people, just with different opinions and views. Which is fine, it makes the world an interesting place to be in. Show respect, also to someone who does not share your opinion.

Take care and stay kind 💖

I am playing with my partner and his brother on our own server and I am the builder from us three. For the next couple of weeks I will be mostly alone, due to Diablo4🤗, so I have time enough to build a bigger base.

I haven’t build up any fractions yet, have lots of insignias, but don’t know which would be the smartest to go for first?

My progress so far

I used y to I colour and craft when I was young, but it was more or less made into something negative. Having to be perfect, without trying things out because “you know better, you can do better” .. and other great comments from adults around me as kid. Now I am 50+ and starting to colour again once a week in an group setting. These are some of my “works” and I upgraded fast from cheap pencils to Faber-Castel polychrome. Still learning a lot! I know I am colouring like an kid, darker colour? Push that pencil!

The artist that is instructing/overseeing/guiding the group is fantastic and has given me lots of insights and tips. Like what I do, the push it thing, which is forcing me to actually give attention to what I do. I used to feel stressed and feel my painting has to be done within that one and a half hour. The first mountain ridge at night, taking the whole page, you can see it clearly. I tried later on to smoothen it out, but I guess it’s not possible anymore. My second try, same motive, but in an circle, is more softer. I took my time with it and it helped me understand why I have to start soft even if I want the dark colours. It just takes more time, attention and care. With that I also dared to be more creative and put it into an circle and not just use the whole page, learning to play with limitations and space.

This sub is also fantastic. I learn a lot here as well. So many of you are so talented and it’s so nice to know that this is such accepted thing. I am still not confident to colour at home, but I hope that I will start trying to do it next year. With this I also would love to see how other people’s progress is/was and hope some will show their first or early works and where they are now.

Thank you all for being yourselves and sharing your art with the rest of us. It is very appreciated.
