Fresh black currants anywhere?

Hey guys, does anyone know where to get fresh black currants locally? Ideally from a local farm? I know there were some at the farmers market last week but ideally I'd like them tonight and last week they weren't sure if they'd have any more tomorrow.

Best modular systems for closet organization?

Hey guys. I have a double wide closet that I use for art supplies, and I've really been struggling to figure out a good organization solution to it. I have a really weird mix of craft supplies - some big, annoying to store stuff (hides of leather, sewing machine, "don't use for food" pots and utensils etc), and some tiny, difficult to keep organized things (pastels, oil paints, brushes, various types of stationery, fabric swatches etc).

The problem that I have is that every organization system is at least one of:

- ugly / flimsy

- overly focused on one size of thing

- not modular

- not the right size / would create bit patches of dead space

My ideal system would be fully modular, so that I could have small flat file drawers, space for rubbermaids, medium drawers for larger things, quick access space for equipment / tools, pretty robust and can spread to fill the whole space, and ideally looks decent.

Does anything like this exist?

Is there anywhere to rent camping gear in Western Mass?

Hey guys, I'm going camping later this summer and I'd prefer not to have to buy all of my own kit (tent, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, etc). I know that REI used to do gear rentals, but they don't seem to anymore unless you drive to Rochester. Does anyone know any spots in Western Mass or upstate NY that does gear rentals?

Best drawer slide options for cabinets with little tolerance in rear, only 10 inches in depth?

Hey guys, I should've figured this out before building it, but I have made a cabinet where the cabinet box is exactly 10 inches deep, and the drawer boxes are slightly shy of that in length. The side tolerance is adjustable. Since they are only on one side of the box, I can just move the middle partition in either direction to get more or less space on the sides.

There is also a partition horizontally between where the two drawers will go, so something like a wooden center mount slide could work. (although I don't know if there are any ways to get a nice action on a wooden slide)

The drawer boxes have about an inch and a half of tolerance between the height of their space and the drawer box height.

I dovetailed the drawer boxes together, but haven't yet attached the bottoms, so I have some adjustability there too.

Are there any options that would fit these weird requirements that aren't side mount? Or at least look and feel a little better? They're small drawers and won't carry much weight so I was even considering something like using 8" side mount slides, mounted to the bottom of the drawer. I know they're not meant for that direction of loading, but there wouldn't be much weight on these drawers.

I don't know, I'm at a loss. Any advice?

Which is the actual first printing of the Burton Arabian Nights?

Hey guys, does anyone know definitively what the first printing of Arabian Nights by Richard Burton is?

There are at least a dozen different editions I've found, all claiming to be the first. Some sources say the kamashastra edition was the first one, some say the Burton club, I've also seen some booksellers imply that there were earlier smaller printing runs? And I've read that any illustrated editions must have been at least as late as 1887?

And within the Burton / kamashastra printings, I've seen at least 5 different bindings (most common being the pictured one)

What should the actual first printing with original binding look like?

Thanks for your help!

Can I get a quick gut check on authenticity?

Hey guys, I'm buying this chair and was just hoping I could get a quick gut check from people more knowledgeable than I on whether it's real. I know you can't say for certain. The person says it was bought new from DWR.

How would you go about authenticating something like this?

This is a pot for auction that claims to be made by Shi Dabin from the Ming dynasty. I know how exceedingly unlikely that is to be true, but assuming it were, how would one go about authenticating it?

(Also there are no any inside pics or pics of the underside of the lid)

Cool little thrift store pot with some design elements (tree branch spout, flower carving, bird head lid handle. Also has an interesting dark green glaze on the outside with a faded yellow squiggle pattern. Can anyone help identify the seals and authenticate it?
