I just found something

In the finale of Ted Lasso, Coach Beard famously confirms his eccentric, globe-trotting lore by casually stating, "Vatican City is a country, baby!" when questioned about his passports
Getting a passport from Vatican City is extremely difficult because Vatican citizenship is not based on birth or on ordinary immigration, as in most countries.

Vatican passports are usually given only to people who:

  • work directly for the Holy See or Vatican City,
  • are high-ranking clergy,
  • members of the Swiss Guard,
  • diplomats of the Holy See,
  • or close family members of such officials.

The most realistic paths are:

  1. Becoming a senior Catholic clergy member serving the Vatican.
  2. Joining the Pontifical Swiss Guard (which itself requires:
    • being male,
    • Catholic,
    • Swiss citizen,
    • military training in Switzerland,
    • and meeting strict requirements.
  3. Working in a very high-level official Vatican position.

SO WHICH ONE IS COACH BEARD

Thank You for ULTRAKILL

I don't know if this group does thank you or not but here goes Hey scotyboy, thank you so much for gifting me the money to buy ULTRAKILL. I’m truly thankful for your generosity and kindness it genuinely made my day. As per your wishes, I won’t mention your Reddit handle, though I still don’t fully understand why 😄. Either way, thank you again. I really appreciate it and I’m excited to finally play the game!

HIII GUYS!!!

I’d like to request a copy of ULTRAKILL if anyone happens to have a spare key.

I’ve wanted to play this game for a really long time because it looks like one of the most unique and satisfying shooters out there. The fast movement, style-based combat, and old-school FPS inspiration all look incredibly fun.

I do not want to pirate it for the reason what dev said about culture not being for only those who can pay.z I really do not want to Pirate.

What really interests me about ULTRAKILL is how skill-focused it is. Every clip I’ve seen makes the gameplay look fast, chaotic, and rewarding once you learn the mechanics. I also really like the retro visual style and soundtrack Well it gives the game a lot of personality.

I do not want to be emotionally manipulative but At the moment I’m unemployed, so I can’t really justify buying games for myself right now, especially with regional pricing and everything else I need to prioritize first.

If anyone has a spare key they’re willing to give away, I’d genuinely appreciate it a lot and would definitely put many hours into the game.

Thanks for reading, and thanks to this community for being awesome ❤️

P.S: I am going to be shameless and key requesting it in hopes of somebody deciding to help me

[H] Bridge Constructor Portal, Super Star Path, NEXT JUMP: Shmup Tactics, Joggernauts, Double [W] Offers / ULTRAKILL / Soulslikes / Indie Games

Hey everyone, looking to trade some spare keys/games for something I’d actually play. I know most of these probably aren’t worth something huge like Dark Souls, but figured I’d try anyway.

Games I have:

  • Sniper Elite 5 ( on hold)
  • Garfield Lasagna Party
  • Bridge Constructor Portal
  • Super Star Path
  • NEXT JUMP: Shmup Tactics
  • Joggernauts
  • Double
  • MIGHT trade might not :  Onimusha: Warlords (on hold)

Mainly interested in:

  • ULTRAKILL
  • Dark Souls games
  • boomer shooters
  • horror
  • roguelikes
  • weird indie games
  • story-heavy games

Feel free to offer anything interesting.

Please comment before sending a chat/DM. I’ve been scammed twice already doing direct trades, so I’m not replying to random DMs without a public comment first.

Thanks for reading.

PS all keys are fantical and hence global

Books like the Supernatural TV show?

I’m a pretty avid reader and at this point I’ve read most fantasy/urban fantasy/isekai that genuinely interested me. I probably have 1000+ unread books sitting in my digital library already, but lately I’ve been craving something very specific and I’m struggling to find it.

Recently my cousin gifted me the box set of early Supernatural and watching the first five seasons again made me feel weirdly nostalgic and happy. Now I’m desperately trying to find novels that capture that same feeling:

  • hunting monsters
  • researching lore
  • hidden supernatural world
  • recurring protagonists
  • road-trip / investigation atmosphere
  • each book or arc dealing with different monsters/entities
  • gradual escalation into larger mythology
  • protagonists learning and surviving as they go

Basically the feeling of living inside the world like Sam and Dean did, not just reading about lore dumps or magic systems.

I’m NOT really looking for:

  • pure Lovecraftian cosmic horror
  • fantasy worlds disconnected from modern reality
  • romance-heavy urban fantasy
  • comedy/parody
  • anthology-style horror
  • “the protagonist already knows everything about the supernatural world”

I prefer stories where the protagonist falls into the supernatural world and has to adapt/survive/hunt.

I’ve already read a LOT of the commonly recommended stuff:

  • The Pendragon Adventure
  • pacts
  • The Bartimaeus Sequence
  • Monster Hunter International
  • The Dark Tower / The Gunslinger
  • The Talisman
  • Darren Shan / Demonata
  • Felix Castor by Mike Carey
  • Laundry Files by Charles Stross
  • Night Watch by Sergei Lukyanenko
  • Twenty Palaces by Harry Connolly
  • Rivers of London
  • City of Stairs
  • Craft Sequence
  • Pact by Wildbow
  • Sandman Slim
  • Nightside
  • Dresden Files
  • Repairman Jack

And probably a bunch more I’m forgetting.

I’d also strongly prefer male POV right now. I don’t hate female protagonists at all, but after reading a massive amount of YA fantasy over the years I’ve honestly gotten burned out on a lot of the current protagonist tropes and I’m specifically looking for something with a different energy.

What I’m chasing most is:

>

Anything obscure, older, forgotten, niche, web serial, horror-thriller hybrid, etc. is welcome. Honestly deep cuts are preferred because I’ve already gone through most mainstream recommendations.

A kind soul gifted me Heroes of Hammerwatch II out of nowhere, and I’m genuinely grateful.

To whoever sent it: thank you so much. Your generosity really brightened my day more than you probably realize.

I honestly don’t know why you chose to stay anonymous, but please know the gift is appreciated. If it was sent by mistake or you wanted a refund, just let me know and I’ll gladly return it is no problem at all.

Until then, thank you again.
