[OC] Dentium Venator, proboscidean specialized proboscideans
These are illustrations (my first ever drawing of a dinosaur so I apologize for it looking like garbage) of a concept of a derived tribe of tyrannosauridae that specializes in proboscideans and proboscidean like animals called the dentium Venators. They have split apart from the major branches early on to still have basal genes embedded in their phylogeny and were placed in Eocene Africa. Adapting to a more mammalian dominated ecosystem with less abundant large game, they had to make due until a specialized tribe latched onto proboscidea and have been successful compared to other uniquely evolving tribes of tyrannosaurines.
Is there a way to translate Tama's fanmanga of urusei yatsura?
Been going over the artist Tama's work on fanmanga of urusei yatsura on Pixiv and I would love to read them but of course I can really read it because there is no translator on the Pixiv website. Is there a way to translate Tama's fanmanga to english?
Indonesia to capture last-known wild Bornean rhino for IVF
yahoo.comWhat places should be a priority to have wild Yak reintroduction?
Wild yaks have a surprisingly small range compared to their wider range even has far back as the year 1400, Covering most of East Central Asia. I can't even imagine how large their range really was during the pleistocene. I feel like Mongolia and Kazakhstan will be a good start to reintroduce wild yak.
Wild yak are highly overlooked by their domestic counterparts which is a shame for an animal that is one of the last vestige megafauna of the mammoth steppe.
"It's very bad": The IDF "considering" opening a case against soldier who shot baby
The IDF is investigating the circumstances of the shooting in Tel Rumeida in Hebron, in which a seven-month-old baby was killed and both of his parents were injured. The Military Prosecutor's Office is considering opening a military police investigation against the soldier Shira.
It is insane that a case like this is considered and not an immediate investigation. I will say this and will say it again, Israel's corruption is best seen within the West bank and settler violence. The sad thing is, if a soldier tries to intervene a settler assault, they will get punished as that is not what the higher ups of the Likud want. Soldiers who join these assaults also do not get any punishment what so ever, there is no consequences in these assaults and we probably don't know the full extent on how much assaults have occured within the last month.

What species were scientifically discovered before 1850?
After watching the dinosauria episode celebrating paleontology with the Megalosaurus and Iguanadon, I wanted to learn more about this era where people where realizing that extinct animals existed. Specifically the species that were discovered before 1850 which is when the transition to the paleontology that progresses today.
How many species were scientifically discovered before 1850? I know that Mosasaurus hoffmani, plesiosaurus, temnodontosaurus, megalosaurus, Iguanadon, Hylaeosaurus, pterodactylus, and cetiosaurus were the first to be scientifically discovered.
Also is there any research done on the Taynton Limestone Formation? as I found it frustrating that there were very few species named alongside Megalosaurus.
How to know if this scholarship is worth the effort?
Majoring in a environmental STEM degree and there is a scholarship that is good of 10,000 but can allow only one to obtain the scholarship. It is part of a non profit organization that unfortunately has a membership fee of 150 dollars. While I do match the requirements, I am not certain whether or not I can obtain it as I do not exceed past the requirements (Like having a 3.6 gpa or volunteering at that specific area like floodplain management) there is a actual fee that is in the way.
Looking at the previous winners of the last 3 years, they all had experiences(all three were Civil engineers) that I didn't and that doesn't really make the situation that much easier.
Should I go through this scholarship and pay the 150 dollars just to get a chance of winning 10,000? I desparately need scholarship money and not winning anything for the past 3 years doesn't help things.
