Alicia: Existential humiliation due to being enslaved by a demon, forced to do its commands, revived as a corpse without being able to rest after her death, being used for a purpose contrary to her own. Misfortune in her form, suffering by having to experience all the pain without dying (in this aspect I consider them equal, because both feel the pain multiple times). She has no freedom or agency of her own, she suffers without having a choice.

Respective themes: Death and failure, loss of autonomy (Enslavement), the degradation of defeat and disfigurement, psychological Subjugation, the inferiority of humans and being at the mercy of fate and dark lords, existential humiliation, the paradox of having wanted to be a hero but being used against that purpouse

Subaru: He dies multiple times, his loved ones die dozens of times, but nobody remembers the events that happened or what he went through and the moments he had with them (mental isolation), and he is blamed for many of the failures. He is forced to carry the burden of the alternative with its respective consequences and the responsibility of saving everyone on his own (repetitive psychological erosion).
