When I was 20, I was going 105mph on a California highway and got away…AMA

I am 35 years old, I’ve been arrested 4 times, including felony arson. I have never spent more than 3 days in jail due to drug court programs and probation. I am 6 years sober. With a roof over my head and a good paying job.

But when I was 20 I avoided a potential 3-5 year sentence with a decent amount of drugs in a car going over 100mph on interstate 395 with a CHP car lighting me up

To this day that’s the most harrowing experience of my life that I think about often…

21-34: the record needed to maintain the streak of the only team to never lose 100 games…

It’s been a good run, but I feel like this team is going to lose over 100 games this season. It was (not) fun while it lasted. We didn’t and haven’t had much going for us, but we did have this. And it’s sad it’s going to come to an end

POV: you’re the AL West team that shows up to the playoffs with a 79-83 record

It’s an invite only party nobody’s quite sure how you managed to get past security

Tucan Charlie’s Buffett back in the 90s and early 2000s was unlike anything else

It was like a Rainforest Cafe. It had the most incredible atmosphere. You felt like you were transported into another place. The tropical theme felt exciting. And it was $15-$20 per person. I’ll never forget those days. I know Vegas probably had immaculate buffets in the 90s too. But this was Reno’s best attempt at something comparable. Now it’s just a corporate cafeteria

I’m shocked this comes as a surprise…

Over the last 12 years or so, it should be expected by now that there are 2 true outcomes of every Angels loss:

When the Angels pitch well and don’t give up many runs (typically 3-4 or less)…then that means the offense doesn’t show up

When the Angels offense shows up (and scores 6-9 runs or so)…then that means the Angels pitching staff didn’t show up

Add in maybe the top 5 or top 10 worst bullpen season so far in the history of the franchise and this has 100 plus losses written all over it

Oh and being top 10 in errors and blown saves is a given

Just when I think I’m out…they pull me right back in

I mean if we’re being honest we are still in this thing. Just gotta sweep the Tigers, and somehow win a series against the Rays, and then pound the Rockies, and we’re right back in this thing

Something like this? Always wanted to test out my dad’s old record collection on a set up like this because apparently it sounds immensely different…I’ve got 200 records from the 70s and 80s

Probably won’t end well for these two knowing they don’t have Luka or Anthony Edwards. Hope they don’t get swept
