I wish I watched more movies that rdr2 heavily used from my understanding

I remember at some point Arthur said he was Mr. Callaghan

And it was something with trains and I was like wait wait wait

It's from "hell on wheels"

And I got so excited that I caught the reference

And now I'm like man I know they took from different Wild west movies like some missions are based on some and anyhow

I think this game going to make me way h westerns and as my 2md playthrough I'ma catch on different things like that(sorry not sure what's the right word for it but you know what I mean)

So while I'm all excited AF here

What tv shows or movies I can watch that will relate?

Considering hell on wheels was really good.

Oohh ohh yeah and the part where John and the Indian guy go to save uncle and the Indian guy goes

You know might have to end the pain when it comes to it

And Im like waaait wait wait.

I recall watching a . Movie where those savages scalped that guy and who ever was trying to save them decided to just put a bullet in he's friends head so he will stop suffering

I was 100 convinced that was the end for uncle

So yeah

What movies?

Let's keep in mind I'm not asking to give me a list of every single one

But kind the good ones or the more interesting as in like the mission when you guard the church so that kid goes and digs out that old hag so he can lay debt off

Apparently the mission or something like that is based off some scene in a movie

I just want to know more about

Sorry for this confusing over excitement

And thank you all for the replies and yeah

Officially did my 1st playthrough

Pardon my language

By

HF

Not to spoil for others but oooo damn

What a thriller

All I can say

The gold bars ruined the game HARD money was never a problem I never robbed a train or stagecoachs

You know

Fast travel definitely played a huge role in less exploring

I definitely didn't explore even half the wierd and side stuff cuz I noticed I had 2 undiscovered collectibles

Pathetic I know. So I can imagine how much more I missed.

But damn

Damn damn

Second playthrough I'ma be a SAINT

I believe you get more content that way

I'm thinking

No gold bars

No fast travel

No buying horses from stables

And no buying weapons from stores(buying only is a no-no

I believe I will explore a hell lotta more that way

I don't know how I feel about no auto sim assist tho.

(To add but of a challenge than just spamming this over used Lancaster.

I want to be exploring more not making the game more difficult

More fun and tad more challenge.

What did you veterans with multiple playthrough suggest

To all the gamers that what the game more than once

Hellooo everybody

Well I best tthe game for the first time

Now I still didn't get enough of the story because

Holly damn so much content haha.

But I don't want to just reply it as usual

I thought

Maybe

Playing in first person mode only

No fast travel(that way I can encounter randoms or find items I would miss)

Now I tried being "nice" most of the game but I wonder would I lose on any kind of content if I was "bad" all the time.

Now any other suggestions as to what you did different when playing the story multiple times.

Chapter 2 and 3 are cool but shady Belle is my favorite

I hear most players spend lots of time on chapters 2 and 3

But idk I like shady Belle haha

I just reached it and plan to stick around for along time

I got satchels to craft

Animals to hunt

Items to find for others.

Plenty to do.

Ohh and start working on 70 gold missions

Ouch gonna be challenging.

Which story interactive map is decent?

IGN? 5 bucks I think a month?

Ropke?

Map ginie? Even tho it's costing money

PvP let's go guys

Soo keep the simple tips and tricks at the stable with scrawny nag

Do you PvP?

No I'm not gonna ask what's yo loadout or what's the best 3 passive cards to use

But

What you do min before or after someone fcking or trying to Fck around

I will start

I pop tier 3 health and dead eye

I run slippery bastard

Never leave without one

Winning streak

The short game

Pump shotty explosive ammo

2 semi auto pistols with incendiary(pistols because I cant watch this manual 1 by 1 bullet reload

bolas as my quick assign

And a Lancaster because well why not?

My go to places like Lagras or forests or grizzlies places

I do not engage in tumble weed or that other flat place I think heart lands it's called

I need trees and up and down terrain to be able run and be slippery

What you guys do?

Or how would you take care of someone like me?

I'm trying to get feedback and be better

So by all means I'm not hear sitting and saying

"Fuck u gonna do I'm the best u ain't getting me blah blah blah",

But I want to hear from decent PvP out there

Let's go rock a fellers

I do have a question

Since I'm all run and up close Should I use use iron lungs? Cuz it's based on stamina something I use so to say but than don't know if I should drop the hat or the short game. I feel like the hat card is very beneficial but fuk don't know how else to put the hat back on unless using my horse and I dont like using my horse in battle so to say

Ideas?

Defensive vs offensive mode

So I'm here running offensive mode on

And can't headshot or lasoo and on top of that do way less damage to someone that is on defensive mode?

And he can just headshot me if he wanted to?

Consider let's say we both standing and he pulls a gun and I don't have my hat on let's say(I run never without one)

Can somebody explain a little in detail in thiere words what's the difference how to distinguish it and how do you deal with it?

I appreciate the input

I'm not hating or being mad I'm just a bit surprised but at the same time I dont think I completely grasp the differences and the use of the modes.(Why are they even exist?

Don't we have parley for players that try to play online like it's some glorious single player mode

Catching others slippin and jacking the wagon

As if you don't get the money they were getting paid for the wagon if they were to complete the journey

but instead I get materials for Cripps....

C'mon.

Imagine hauling 50 or even 100 materials and getting jacked for that 400 bucks

Yes I'm one of those "toxic" players.

If you on a wagon

Got a bounty on you

So yeah I'ma try Jack you.

Sometimes I get my a*s handed to me haha

Most pathetic I felt was when I got used bolas on me and I was the one hunting the bounty lmao

If rdr3 ever insight

Rockstar I promise I wont sneak with bolas on players that fish.

u/letsNVhim — 2 months ago

Wow really rdr2

Arrowheads are annoying as it is

But what are the chances that I go to that isolated spot in butt f*ck no where and a moonshine camp decides to spawn there and now look

😤

And to top it off It's says "take out the remaining enemies....."

Got none.....

Do you kill or sedate legendaries the first time?

What do you do first since you cant do both on the same animal

And why?

I personally sedate to get the sample I think it's more beneficial but I think it's better RTO kill and skin it for the compodium.

What's your thoughts/reasons behind your choices?

How do you guys transfer pictures

Hello and sorry for the noob question

But how the hell y'all take a picture using the camera in the game and post it here?

Let's say I took. A portrait picture

How would I share it here?

I'm on ps5

I can't find an option to import or share a picture from the photo album.

And I get really jealous to see y'all posting those crisp nice pictures while I'm here taking pictures with my phone of my tv screen like a scrub hahah

Please advise

Why do you have more than 1 account

I hear it over and over again

Why?

The feeling of oh I'm new let's do it again?

Or stats wise?

u/letsNVhim — 2 months ago

I'm going to collect all of it

Here is my idea before the end of this month

I'ma collect all the sets

And sell all at once

Interactive map beside me and

That might take a while

If I run into any random activities I will do them.

Like legendary animal or any other ones.

I can update here how it progresses if it's something

That will be interesting to see.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Here is my starting point FOSSIL: Coastal 4 of 7 Oceanic 4 of 7 Mega 3 of 6

American flowers 7of 9

CARDS: Cup 11 of 14 Sword 8 of 14 Wand 6 of 14 Pentacles 10 of 14

Jewelry: Bracelet 4 of 8 Earrings : 6 of 11 Necklace 5 of 9 Rings 7 of 11

Alcohol bottles 5 of 9

Bird eggs 5 of 9

Arrow heads 10 of 12

Family heirlooms 8 of 15

Coins 3 of 15

I will prepare my map and will update this post I hope I get some sort of motivation or support Or just comments about journey Im currently struggling with an addiction So I need my mind busy with something like that and I dont have any friends that will be able to give me the support I want.

So if it's stupid or boring just don't ruin it for me please. I don't need sympathy comments I'm looking for something to be occupied with.

For some it might be not a big deal but this post and the idea is a big thing for me I don't open up like that and I just don't know what else I can do to get thrue my current situation.

June 25th..

Starting from all the way in tumbleweed I have 159 items to collect... Damn

Collected crude arrowhead Chipped arrowhead Harland coral ring Helena ring

The Witcher 3 was on sale with the other 2 expansions

I never played the game.

Was bored and it was on sale very cheap

Soo like how good is it?

Is it something like RDR 2

Lots to explore and so on?
