Returning to PUBG after 4 years… and I feel completely lost 🥲

i've been playing pubg since season 4, but ended up quitting at the end of 2022 due to studies n family pressure still it never really left my heart its not just a game, its a whole feeling... n now i'm thinking of reinstalling it around mid-september.... back when i left there were only 5 maps and it was way simpler compared to now...

coming back after 4 whole years.... but back then i had a full team of girls to play with (i'm a girl too)... now i have nothing...🥲 no teammates and no game skills like before....

should i install it now or skip it?😅😭😭

My Most Recent Tahajjud Experience (Alhamdulillah)

Let me share my most recent Tahajjud experience from last year(2025)...

My mum had been suffering from hyperthyroidism for around 25 years... Recently she started losing a lot of weight within a few months so we took her for further checkups... That's when the doctors told us that along with her thyroid condition there appeared to be a tumor as well...

We were told that she would need two surgeries on the same day: a thyroidectomy and a mediastinal surgery to remove the suspected tumor... The second surgery was especially scary for us because it was a major surgery with serious risks and she would have to stay in the CCU afterward.

tbh we were devastated... It felt like there was nothing we could do except make dua... I can't really describe how difficult that time was for our family... My mum left for Karachi on May 12(2025), and the surgeries were scheduled for May 15.

During those three days, I started praying Tahajjud and making lots of dua for her. I kept asking Allah to make everything easy for my mum and to grant her complete shifa...

The night before the surgery I cried a lot and slept very late... I genuinely thought I wouldn't be able to wake up for Tahajjud... Before sleeping I made a dua: "Ya Allah please wake me up for Tahajjud at 3am."

What happened next still amazes me...

I was in a very deep sleep when I suddenly felt a very cold breeze on my face wallahi... I immediately woke up and sat up thinking maybe someone was there but nobody was... Then I checked the time, and it was just 3–4 minutes before my alarm (alarm time was: 3:05 AM)...

I got up, prayed Tahajjud, and made dua for my mum...

Then came the part that none of us expected...

The surgeons first performed the thyroidectomy, and the chest surgeon who was supposed to perform the mediastinal surgery was already on standby... But during the operation they were able to remove my mum's thyroid gland successfully(this surgery took 6hrs) and the doctors found that there was no tumor requiring the second surgery...

As a result the mediastinal surgery was no longer needed.

The surgery that had worried us the most never had to happen...

And Alhamdulillah, when all of my mum's cancer-related tests came back afterward, they were completely clear. 😭

I know everyone may have their own interpretation of events, but for me and my family, this was a beautiful reminder of Allah's mercy and the power of sincere dua and Tahajjud.

Alhamdulillah, Allah is truly capable of changing situations in ways we cannot imagine...

Is finding a serious Muslim partner online actually possible?

Assalamu Alaikum. I’m an 18+ Muslim woman from Pakistan and I wanted to ask for advice from people who have been through a similar situation...

I come from a family/background where most marriages around me happen through family circles or relatives (including cousin marriages etc.)... I respect everyone’s choices, but personally I don’t see myself choosing that route. I believe compatibility, understanding and shared values are very important when choosing a life partner.

The reason I’m asking here is because my social circle is quite small and I don’t really have many connections through which I could meet someone with a similar mindset.... Finding someone who matches my values has started feeling difficult, especially because I’m looking for something meaningful and not just a random connection....

I’m someone who values deen, family, loyalty and personal growth. I would like to find someone with whom I can grow in both deen and dunya someone mature, respectful, emotionally understanding and serious about building a future....I personally prefer someone from a Pakistani background because I feel cultural understanding and shared values matter a lot to me. Whether he is living in Pakistan or settled abroad, I’m open as long as he has a similar mindset, values and intentions....

I work remotely in digital marketing, and I’m also open to the idea of settling abroad in the future because of career opportunities and growth...

I have tried Muslim matchmaking apps a little, but I didn’t really find the compatibility I was hoping for. I’m not looking for casual conversations or anything against my beliefs(haram relationship)just trying to understand what the best approach is to meet someone serious and compatible...

For those who have been in a similar situation, especially those who found their spouse or a serious connection online, how did you approach it and what was your experience like? Do you think online platforms can actually help in finding someone compatible if approached in the right way? Any advice would be appreciated.

And if someone genuinely relates to this situation, feel free to reach out respectfully.

F | 23 | D.I.Khan | Posting on behalf of my sister

  • 23 | F | D.I.Khan, KPK
  • Age: 23
  • Height & Weight: 5'1 & 45
  • Location : D.I.Khan, KPK
  • Accommodation: Own
  • Education: BS Zoology (Currently Pursuing)
  • Marital status: Single
  • Skills: PPT Designing & Presentation Freelancing (Side Hustle)

Religion: Muslim, Sunni. She offers five daily prayers regularly, observes fasting during رمضان, and also takes part in various Islamic activities. She observes purdah with hijab/niqab and prefers modest dressing...

Hobbies and Interests: She has a great interest in cooking and enjoys managing household responsibilities. In her free time, she loves reading, learning new things, and spending time with her pets, especially cats and birds. She is also quite dedicated to her studies and balances her free hours by working on freelance presentation design as a productive side hustle....

Family Details: Father is a government school teacher, and mother is a homemaker. In siblings, there are 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Requirements for Partner: Looking for a genuine, loyal, kind, and God-fearing person who is emotionally available, well-educated, and religiously active. We are looking for a man with a solid provider mindset who respects his wife’s choices. She is mainly interested in homemaking and family life, so the decision to manage the home full-time or continue her freelance remote work will be entirely her own choice after marriage...

Physical attraction also matters, not in the sense of being exceptionally good-looking, but there should be mutual attraction and compatibility.

She is open to relocating to any city or abroad for the right person.

Deal Breakers: Drinking, disloyalty, non-religious lifestyle, and lack of kindness or compassion towards people and the creation of Allah....

Preferred Family Setup: Can adjust in a joint family system as well, especially if the people are understanding and the person himself is good-natured, so this is not a major issue.

Do you want children: Yes, InshaAllah

Marriage Time Frame: Looking to get married within the next 6–12 months. Families should preferably be involved after 2-3 weeks, as we believe in involving families early rather than unnecessarily prolonging things.

P.S: Just to mention beforehand, she is a very simple and well-mannered person, not overly modern, and prefers modesty over fashion. However, she is respectful towards her future husband’s preferences and is willing to adapt where reasonable and comfortable after marriage.

Also, she will not communicate directly until the relationship is seriously progressing towards confirmation. Communication on her behalf will be handled by me( as her sister), or our brother.

You may share your profile, pictures, and anything you would like to ask at an early stage so both sides can have basic clarity before taking things further. As for her pictures, since she is a modest and reserved girl, they will be shared after some level of comfort, seriousness, and compatibility is established, In Sha Allah....

Note: Only serious individuals whose families are fully aware and involved should reach out. Distance should not be an issue for you or your family, as she is open to relocation for the right person. Time-wasters, please stay away. When reaching out, kindly skip the generic "Hi/Hello" and share your profile directly in the DM.

Bookish standards vs Pakistani rishta reality, is it over for me? 😭

Hey everyone, just needed a little reality check/rant space.

I’m 18+ now, and in my family, girls usually get married early. So realistically, in the next 2-3 years, I’ll probably be getting into marriage discussions too. But here’s the problem... I feel like I’ve raised my standards way too high, and I blame my novel-reading habit for it. 😭

Looks-wise, I don’t have crazy expectations because I consider myself a normal-looking girl too. The only physical preference I strictly have is height (around 6ft), but other than that, they don't need to be a model (just decent/not ugly, obviously).

But the real issue is personality. Reading fiction has literally set my standards to "fictional men" qualities, the emotional intelligence, the respect, the way they treat their woman, all of that is now stuck in my head. 🥲😭😭

Honestly, does a guy like that even exist in real life, especially in our society? Or am I just setting myself up for disappointment? What should I do now? Kia Mujhe Mil jayega wo ?

What is your personal favorite theory about what actually happened to D.B. Cooper after he jumped?

I was just reading up on the 1971 hijacking case again, and honestly, my mind is completely blown every time I think about it. Jumping out of a plane into a freezing, pitch-black storm with a parachute and a bag of cash is just wild.

Do you guys think he actually survived and lived a quiet life somewhere, or did the wilderness get him? I'd love to hear your favorite theories or any crazy details about the case that not many people know! Let's chat.
