Advice

Hi guys! I’m trying to figure out what I should do with my ear piercings and what order I should do everything in.

On one ear, I have two holes that were my forward helixes. The jewelry came out, but the piercings are still open and I can still put jewelry in them. I just need to go back to my piercer and get new jewelry.
I also really want to get both a rook and a daith eventually.

So what would you guys recommend doing first? Should I go to my piercer and replace the forward-helix jewelry first, or should I get the rook or daith done first?

And between the rook vs. daith, which one would you personally get first? I’m trying to figure out the best order so I don’t overcrowd my ear or make healing unnecessarily difficult. Thanks!

Compliments

I work with this guy who’s one of the managers. The other day he was wearing my favorite colour, and I told him that I really liked that colour on him and that it looked good on him. He smiled, told me a story about it, we both laughed, and then he said thank you. Later, when we were leaving work, he waved goodbye to me in the parking lot. The thing is, he never usually waves goodbye, so it stood out to me.
I’m just curious what you guys think. Do most guys appreciate compliments like that? Do men get compliments very often? Could the wave have just been him being friendly because I complimented him, or do you think it meant he was genuinely happy about it? For context, he’s originally from Bathinda, India, and I’m Punjabi too but I was born and raised in Canada. I know cultural backgrounds can sometimes influence how people react to compliments, so I wasn’t sure if that might be relevant. What do you all think?
