Better than the movies

Better than the movies

Better than the movies by Lynn Painter

Read a romcom after so long, "Better Than the Movies" was an utterly delightful indulgence and so charming that I devoured it in a single sitting. The deliciously slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers dynamic was immaculate; now, the void inside my heart, never having found a love remotely akin to it feels infinitely more profound.💁🏻‍♀️💔

The animal farm

A remarkably concise yet compelling read, easily finished in a single sitting and particularly approachable for new readers. Beneath its deceptively simple narrative lies a sharp political allegory that felt strikingly relevant to Nepali politics 💔and more broadly, to the recurring patterns of power and governance everywhere. Short, incisive, and profoundly thought-provoking.🫶🏻

Once upon a curfew

Once Upon a Curfew by Srishti Chaudhary wasn’t quite my cup of tea, largely because I’m not particularly drawn to political narratives. Nevertheless, readers with a keen interest in politics may find it remarkably engaging and effortlessly finishable in a single sitting. A well-crafted read, albeit one that didn’t particularly resonate with me.

Visa situation

So it's basically 12 weeks since I joined the waiting list for a student visa in Nepal

The application has not been reviewed yet.

My enrollment deadline is September 30th.

So I was planning on emailing them regarding this matter, anyone knows if it's effective? Or make things more efficient?

Julius Maximilian Würzburg

So JMU gives 4 weeks extension in Masters Management International Program 2026/27 but is it for enrollment (whose deadline is on 30th September) or for late arrivals?

If anyone knows can you let me know as well?

Just got an offer from Hochschule Niederrhein in a locally restricted program (International Management).

If anyone else has the same offer feel free to connect.

German visa condition (Nepal)

So universities don't allow late arrivals, deferral or late enrollment but the visa waiting list is 6-12 months long in Nepal.

So if i receive an offer in July how can i make it to Germany in October?

How to do the math?
