Loud music going on every weekend until 2am

Y’all who the heck is playing loud ass music (mind you not very good either) until 2-3am near 2nd ave and 102nd st??? Like it’s happened the last 3 weekends Friday-Sunday non-stop then people are like screaming in the street and the block looks a mess the next day. I don’t want to call the cops but like idk what to do anymore, everyone in my home can’t sleep (also have a baby that needs sleep) it’s so loud and my neighbors are also losing sleep too. Any advice??? (If you’re the person doing this pls stop raging every weekend, there’s other people that live here)

My one cat hates her sister and idk what to do

I have two female cats both 5 years old. The older one (Sushi) hates her sister (Soup). Anytime Soup is even remotely close to Sushi, Sushi hisses. They play sometimes but mainly Sushi is the aggressor. Soup will try to go in for grooming on her head and Sushi will groom for like 5 seconds before she nips Soup’s ear and smacks her while hissing. What can I do?? They used to love each other and cuddle but now they can’t even be on the same couches without Sushi getting pissed and leaving.

It used to be just them two with me but then my girlfriend and I moved in together and she had a 10 year-old tuxedo male, that definitely caused a lot of stress to my girls. He unfortunately passed 2 1/2 months after we moved in together and that was two years ago.

I’m not sure what to do anymore because they used to be not besties but they got along pretty well. Soup doesn’t even sleep in bed with my girlfriend and I because Sushi gets pissed and hisses. Any advice is welcome pls

Getting 5 week old kitten and I’m so stressed

Hey all! Like the title says I’m getting a 5 week/6 week kitten that will be more than likely weaned from their mother. I don’t agree that baby is being taken away from their mom this soon, but the person is insistent I take the cat or they will give it to someone else. (Either way kitten being taken away from momma) I am stressed in the club about this because I’ve been reading everywhere that they shouldn’t be taken away from their mom at a minimum of 8 weeks.

If this person gets the kitten on solids 100% of the time, should I still be feeding her formula? I do have a vet that I am going to call, once I get said kitten but I’m really freaking out and looking for any advice. I’m also nervous about leaving her alone for too long (the longest will be 5/6 hours)

(For more context: I have two other cats that I got at 3 & 4 months old but are 5 years old now)

Breaking up with my therapist?

Hi all! How’s the tail says, I think I need to break up with my therapist. They’re wonderful and our sessions have been great but the modality of therapy I don’t think fits the kind of support/process processing I need. I have been seeing them since October and we do IFS. I have BPD, CPTSD, and ADHD for context. I really appreciate the support they’ve given me and we have a great therapeutic relationship so I’m very nervous to end seeing them. I think I don’t do well with splitting up parts of myself into “characters” especially as someone who feels so disconnected from themself. My goal is to do trauma processing and really reconnect with myself, but I don’t know what to do about my current therapist, I’ve never broken up with a therapist before, I’ve only ghosted to them and that never feels right.

I also feel bad because I’ve only been seeing them for a few months, I feel like I failed at therapy.

Woodcut tattoo artist?

I’m looking for an artist in the area that does this style of tattooing. I’m also open to other artists that might be in nearby states as well. Looking to start my sleeve in this style, thank you!

Doing a PhD with ADHD??? Or am I’m crazy to do this?

I’m currently in a masters program and I’m due to finish next year. I’m incredibly nervous that I’ll absolutely tank and fail out (if I even get in). I was diagnosed at 23 after leaving law school (bad grades) and started my current masters program this past year and have a 3.96 gpa (I’m 28).

I’m wondering if there’s anyone here who has successfully completed a PhD program and what did you get your PhD in? How did you cope and be successful in the program?

Emergency vet???

Hi, my cat’s eye has been swollen shut ever since this morning. She was squinting late last night, and I think she might have gotten catnip in her eye, but when we looked and tried to flush her eye out, we couldn’t find anything, so definitely possible that it might have scratched her eye, but I’m not too certain.

She is having no discharge but has watery eyes. She’s a five-year-old cat with one other five-year-old cat in the house and her eyes are totally fine.

I’m wondering, is it OK to wait until tomorrow at 7:30 to take her to the vet or is this something I should take her to the emergency vet hospital now? She’s not really acting different but I get really nervous when it comes to her eyes.
